No, it looks like last night Martin put Plekanec on the top unit in Gomez's spot though. We only had two powerplays and scored on both, so it's not like we had that much PP time.

The first PP had Pleks between Cammy and Gionta, second one he was with Cammy and Metropolit.

I'm guessing it's something like...

Cammalleri - Plekanec - Metropolit
Gionta - Gomez - Kostitsyn

or

Cammalleri - Plekanec - Gionta
Metropolit - Gomez - Kostitsyn

I think Gomez is hurt or sick or something. Still trying though. He'll start racking up the points, don't worry.

Hahahaha man, I live in Baton Rouge and go to school at LSU, which is about an hour and a half north of New Orleans. But when I first saw that commercial, my jaw dropped. I really do wish that was me. I have a new goal in life.

It sucks there weren't that many chicks, but it's always a good thing if you didn't know them. Half the fun is meeting new ones!

Really? If someone can't deduct that it was in regulation by the fact that it was a 4-2 score, I don't want them on our board.

(I know what you meant though.)

Not if you add it before the actual score

Ex : HABS WON IN REGULATION! Final Score : 4-2

I think Pleks played the best game of his career. Hope his wingers start playing a more inspired game soon because Pleks is going to burn himself out doing everything on his own. I mean Pleks dumps the puck and then he goes and gets the puck along the boards, then he shoots and he has to go after the rebound. Sheesh... can he get a little help out there?

That game sucked, painful to watch. I liked what I saw from Ryan White at least.

Actually, this was one of the games that a regulation win wasn't important at all!

I didn't hear him say that, but the idea listening to Brunet criticize an NHL player for being fragile or non-durable sounds like it would be about equal to sitting through Mike Milbury trashing a GM's work.

I like him, he and White have been a steadying influence on the bottom lines. I'm not sure about the 2nd line position as a long term solution, but he's done enough to prolong the experience.

It's nice for a change to see yougsters making the best of the opportunities given to them and running with it. Some other guys should look up to Pyatt's and White's intensity and drive to reflect on their own play to date.

Yeah I saw the incident but I was talking to someone I was watching the game with, so I didn't hear. I liked Brunet as a player when he was actually playing, but holy effing, every time there was a strong wind the guy was out 2-12 weeks.

When was the last time the team scored an empty netter to solidify a win?

Seems when the other team pull their goalie at the end of a game, the habs have more of a chance of getting scored against than they do to score in that empty net for some reason.
