goaltending was a bit of a problem tonight although Atlanta has some pretty nice goal scorers.
You can't leave it all on the goalie when we have no goals, and they (being Atlanta) forced plenty of turnovers.
Just one of those blow outs that you suck up, learn from and move on.
Wierd game.....things looked fine right until that first goal where Kopitar lost his man behind the Kings net...it went seriously downhill from there.....
Quick just makes me really mad. He has all it takes to become a star keeper as he has the flexability and speed across the crease to make steals on a nightly basis. He just seems to really really really suck at getting his angles right. If he can just work on this I really do think he has the chance to be a far better than average goaltender.
As for the rest of the team, something needs to be done with the 2nd and 3rd lines, i dont even know what anymore as so much has been tried but they just can't get the puck in the net. Combined, these guys have had like 4 good games? I'd like to see frolov on line 1, with williams-stoll-brown on 2 and parse-zeus-simmonds on 3 just to shake things up a bit and see what happens
wow, is bernier a possibility in the coming weeks should Ersberg not be able to back up Quick? im not gonna be quick to assume that Quick can't play in this league but maybe he just needs an extended rest. from the looks of it Ersberg isn't showing he deserves ice time.

How about go back to the best line combos we had so far:
Frolov - Zeus - Brown
Parse - Stoll - Simmonds/Purcell
Terry Murray couldn't stand not needing to change the lines so of course that didn't stick.
