Of course it is! Nashville is the capital of country music (they really live for it in Nashville)

http://www.countrymusichalloffame.com/

and we all know Price is a fan of country music (see last year's mask)

so when he gets the chance to go at the country music HOF he's happy.

Is that the worst defense a team has iced in the history of the league? God that's ugly.

Atleast we got three starters......

I see us winning 4-0 or losing a close one with Bouillon having the late game winner

They allowed 1 goal against Calgary, 2 against Phoenix on the road. Surely there are worse defense units out there. Currently there are 9 teams with worse GAA. Sometimes the facts pleasantly surprise us. We are actually looking better defensively of late than we were early in the season. If anything, there are signs JMs system is starting to work.

Mediocre, yes. Easily the worst, no.

On paper, easily.

That said, good coaching can overcome such things.

I guess I'd rather have a real defense placing above 9 other teams in the league than a paper one in last place, but that's me.

Everyone who would rather have this defensive unit starting tonight instead of ours raise their hands:

Joni Pitkanen
Tim Gleason
Niclas Wallin
Joe Corvo
Aaron Ward
Andrew Alberts

Isn't that the same D that took them to the ECF last year and eliminated the Bruins?
Keep in mind that they're missing Staal and Ward..

Keep in mind Staal and Ward *are* the reason they went to the ECF?

Lol okay. Keep lying to yourself.

Honestly that's a toss up to me...Either one of Corvo or Pitkanen would do a better job of replacing Markov on the PP than anyone we have right now and they're not as brutal defensively as MAB. Corvo can sometimes have brainfarts but I'd take him over MAB.

I'm a pretty big fan of Tim Gleason's game as well, pretty tough defenseman.

Not a fan of Wallin/Ward/Alberts though...but honestly They're probably about as good(or bad) as Leach/MAB/Carle. I think the only reason I would pick our bottom 3 over theirs is because Carle has played well as a rookie and has the potential to become a regular while there isn't much potential at all in Carolina's bottom 3.

mmm you have:

#3 D in Hammer
#4 D in Gorges
#5 D in Mara
#7 D MAB
#8 D Carle
#8 D Leach

So ya that's pretty bad indeed.

in Bergeron's defense, he has improved a little bit in the last 3 games or so. And I'm not saying that because he got 3 points last game... I think he's been better since the boston game. I know thats not saying much but one can hope that he continues in that direction.

Who thinks bouillon finds a way to score tonight? All the other ex habs seem to do it

Thanks Trade Legwand, but I'd be careful what you ask for.
