I don't think this has that much to do with the team not trusting in Boucher but rather Emery having the experience with Northeast division teams.
I expect Boucher to play against Phoenix, Islanders and Atlanta this month and possibly against Colorado and Los Angeles, though much less likely because both teams are pretty high flying right now but somethings got to give. Phoenix was kind of the same but they cooled off and they are on the back-to-back with San Jose and I don't think they are going to put Boucher again on the ice against the Sharks.
Probably doesn't pertain to this game, but I'm just curious.
I didn't watch the game on TV on Thursday. I listened to it on the radio when driving home from work. It sounded like Richie was playing with Carcillo and Lappy. Am I mistaken?
Back in camp, Stevens said he was more interested in forward pairings and there was going to be tinkering with the third forward on a given night.

I wouldn't mind seeing a little more skill on Powe's line maybe in place of Pyorala. Maybe give Pyorala a break here and there when the schedule gets tight and bring back Laliberte or try Kalinski/Maroon/etc.
Powe has certainly surprised me - I know there are lots of Powe fans here but I didn't expect him to play this well, and I am pleasantly surprised.
Judging by a recent response from Stevens, sounds like he considers them 3A and 3B. Probably not dissimiliar to the top two lines. Both Richards and Carter's lines have been referred to as the top line.

For family trash talking rights, I need a Flyers win.
LET'S GO FLYERS!!
The next game is dedicated to Dave Schultz. The runner up was Led Zeppelin's "Immigrant Song." ("Hammer of the Gods...")
The Flyers could be wearing white jerseys for this game.
I can confirm they will be.
Sabres made a deal with the Flyers. The Sabres will likely be wearing their home blue throwbacks tonight in exchange for allowing the flyers to wear black last week

The way he bench is being managed right nw line numbering means squat. If you really wanted to number them we basically have 2 2nd lines and 2 3rd lines. I like to think of it more as 4 full lines that can play against anyone.
i hope i won't fall asleep midway through the third... I'm bored of doing it every games lol
And yes Bartulis was good against the sens, i wish we had him instead of syvret.
Is Bartulis definitely scratched? I heard he had a decent game against Ott.
If Parent returns, as has been indicated, unless Bartulis supplants another d-man he'll be scratched. And thanks. Yes, he definitely has a strong game. Stevens also praised him in camp.
Does Syvret need to pass through waivers? If not I would like to see Bartulis remain in the lineup for a few more games at least. I think he does though.
I hope the Flyers blow them out tonight. I have a strong dislike for the Sabres. Ever since they owned us a couple years back, when we were the worst team in the league. Briere and company lit us up like 6-1 every game, it seemed. Now that we have Briere, I hope he gets a hat trick tonight and we continue our winning streak.
