i love how all these people keep saying we will win 5-0 or Gabby will score 3. its NOT GOING TO HAPPEN. i guess if you keep saying it, its bound to happen, but look how these guys are playing....5-0 is a stretch and the entire TEAM scoring 3 is feeling harder and harder to come by

Rangers go down by 2 three mins into the game.

Torts calls a TO and rips them apart.

We battle back and tie it up at 2 by the end of the 2nd.

In the 3rd, Ott scores 2 more and we only manage 1.

Ott wins 4-3.

This is probably the worst team the organization has iced since the lockout. This season is most likely over. I don't see anywhere near a playoff appearance this year. Which is not bad since I don't feel like paying another 1400 dollars for the playoff package to watch them get knocked out in the 2nd round after winning the NYR version of the Stanley Cup by winning the first round. It's numbing to see another mediocre season by the Rangers. In their history, they probably have had 7 great seasons and everything else has been 'meh'...

So, as the years pass and 1994 becomes a distant memory, at least we have the Yankees.

How do you lose 6-1 in OT? lol

I'm really hoping we make a game of this today. If they can just play like they did in calgary every game, I would have nothing bad to say about this team. Oh and start sticking up for each other already, it's pathetic now.

Last years team was worse before they traded for Morris and Antropov.

For offense, i'll agree. But this defense is horrendous. I count at an average of 5 - 7 2 on 1s for the opposing team every game.

I do feel sorry for Lundqvist because he is getting barraged. BUT. He can certainly let in a squeaker every game and that game against atlanta, he let that typical glove side high in again being the difference in the game. See, here is the way I see it.

Average netminders make typical stops. Good goaltenders make the typical stops and some surprising stops. Great goaltenders make those surprising stops look simple.

Lundqvist is a good goaltender. I cannot consider him a great goaltender until he learns how to stop pucks glove side high. I'm sorry, but I know most people will disagree with that, but that's the way I feel. In my mind, he will be considered a good goaltender (above average) until he stops those and those terrible squeakers (at least one a game now).

Jeez aren't you used to this by now? Seriously, we're not that bad. Is the team missing a few pieces? Of course, what else is new. Is this the year? Mmm, almost definetly not, but it's more entertaining then Renney hockey was at least. "Keep hope alive".

I am used to it. That's why I said numbing. No, you are right. We are not that bad ... for a ranger team. Yes. I hated Renney hockey. I can't say anymore great things about Torts than I have. I love torts. He makes the players responsible for their actions. The first coach since Keenan who did that hear. But, let's face it. I get tired of losing a lot quicker each year. I have a lot less patience. Watching this team is like watching 'Gomer Pyle' in Full Metal Jacket trying to get over the obstacle. They **** with your emotion. I find myself screaming at the garden: "THEEEEN QUIT, YOU DISGUSTING FATBODY!!! QUIIIIIIIIIIT!!! GET THE **** OFF MY OBSTACLE AND QUIIIIIT!!!!"

I leave after the first period now. I drive from west jersey to the train station and go into to new york to watch the GomerPyles try for 10 minutes and then I'm on my way home already.

Just came across this.

Forward Ryan Callahan is questionable with a lower body injury.
Yesterday, Zipay said Cally would be playing. Maybe CBC is just ill-informed?

Elliot is in net for the Sens...so we better win.

Gaborik hits 14 and 15 on the season.

And that would be fantastic for my fantasy team!

Good Luck today, guys. The Atlantic Division is the best division in hockey.

Entirely possible. CBC isn't very good with teams that aren't Canadian

Wonder if Brashear and Carkner will get reunited? Carkner won the first fight they dad, which was a short one...But it almost looked like Brash bailed on the fight when Carkner got the upper hand. I think he'll want that one back, that is if...the hand is better.

It's hard to say a game in mid November is a big game, but this is a big game for this team.

Exactly right. Another loss and I don't know what this would do psychologically to the players on this team, the coach, and of course the fan base.

we know what it'll do for the fanbase.

i think the players and coach realize that its kind tough to win without your top 2 centers.

I'd be more inclined to believe the guy that covers the team on a daily basis then CBC.
