Lightning fan here. Honestly I'am pissed. Tonight I saw the bolts play the hardest they have in the past couple of years, just to get a BS call. Tonight seemed like a playoff game from both sides, hard hitting and straight cut throat hockey. We need more games like that not less. Why that wasn't sent to Toronto is beyond me.
I'd say that call was a bad one. I like the way it turned out tho, guess we were lucky today.
Have a question though... The winning shootout goal scorer don't get a point for it, do they? I mean, Kopi won't get a goal for that?
Guess it's two questions. If a game ends 0-0 in regulation and overtime, does the losing goalie get a shutout? I mean, technically nobody scored on him?
The question might sound stupid but I'd love an answer, thanks.

Good game kings fans.
it wasn't sent to Toronto because that play isn't reviewable.
BTW, I will go on board as saying that it WAS goalie interference. SOD didn't push him.
very true however he didn't hinder Quick's ability to make the save in any way... technically it's not completely "wrong" but how it happened is ridiculous...

Surprisingly, NHL on the Fly didn't even mention the disallowed goal. They focused on the Kings coming back from the 0-7 defeat and said they receive "full marks" for the game today and praised Kopitar. Bizarre.

You should be. I would be furious if it was the other way and understand completely. Unfortunately it couldn't go to Toronto because it is not reviewable. Refs are allowed to group up and discuss calls and change their minds though. It was a bad call.
? Seemed pretty mundane to me. He said the Kings complained to the refs and may have influenced the ref's decision. It was actually the linesman who jumped in and wanted to huddle.
In any case... there are several young, inexperienced officials in the league this year due to a few retirements and it's showing in some of these games.
Claiming that perhaps the Kings "pressured" the officials, that it was "pretty fishy", "obviously it was disgusting" and lots of fun stuff that typically lands a player in a nice fine.
