They just couldn't give up that 56th shot...it could have been the one win in the night of fail. This team can't even suck right.

while we're a it, we should call sergei and subban, ask them to fix this pitiful band-aid team and facepalm as every idiots in Montreal bash them without mercy when they have a bad game, much like they do with Price

LOL. Good reply from Joel "On s'en fout de tout le monde" to Mr. Crete regarding "En septembre, tout le monde etait pret a envoyer O'byrne a Hamilton."

I'm sorry but Latendresse ****ing sucks.

And can someone tell me what's Bergeron doing in the NHL?
Yeah Lats looks like he has an anvil tied to him ****' is he slow, and i thought he had hands and went to the net? where is that effort from him?

and Bergeron has done nothing lately had a nice goal against Phoenix, but seriously can we not get or call up someone better than him? Belle PK? something needs to happen soon, and we can not wait till Markov gets back to solve our PP problems

That's what you get for overworking all your key players because of injuries and relative lack of depth. Everyone just seemed too tired to play and battle.

These few days of rest will do a lot of good to everyone. Getting Gionta (and maybe O'Byrne) back might help too.

I'm sad for Price though, he was awesome tonight. It pained me to see him lying face down on the ice after the second goal.

Aside from that, well.. let's just forget that game, okay ?

And let's hope Carolina beats the Wild tomorrow, I wouldn't want them to end their streak at the Bell Centre.

You won't win a game with Ryan White on your first line for 2 periods, with your 2nd line center playing half the game with Pyatt and Lapierre.

This team's success depended on guys like Plekanec, Kostitsyn, Latendress, Pacioretty, Sergei continuing their progress .. sadly only one has, so you get a team with no depth playing Ryan WHite on the PP.

Gionta by himself can't have made THIS much difference, but I'm worried that the team seems to be regressing. They used to have good games and lose them, now they have bad games. Surely they're not tuning out the coach already?

Makes people criticizing Price look pretty stupid though. Although no doubt the highly superficial types will only note that it's an extra L for him. An invincible goalie can do a lot to restore team confidence over time too -- it's the one way out of a death spiral.
Yeah, exactly, the fact we're doing worse than ever at 20 games makes it hard to be optimistic.

No, he sucked, as usual. He did "suck less" than a bunch of other players, though. ****ing Latendresse SUCKS.

Let's start a Stanley cup thread too so we will never get it.

Why are you surprised? He has a terrible attitude and no mental strength whatsoever. This is all his fault. Play Halak.

This pretty much sums up the effort: it only took 3 players, Sullivan (11), Hamhuis (5) and Erat (5), to out shoot the Habs.

Barry Trotz was asked postgame for his thoughts on his teams play. Despite the win, he wasn't happy as this picture shows, he felt that his team should have finished their chances better.

Very true. Still, it was a horrible game.

Lats, for a guy that was supposed to be a healthy scratch, is showing absolutely nothing. Goes to show this guy doesn't belong in the NHL.

I dont know if its just me but I really am not liking Jacques Martin right now I dont even know what hes trying to put together with this team or what his strategys are.. "I dont care who you play, whether its a high school team.. a junior college team.. a college team.. much less an NHL team, when you allow 57 shots on net you aint gonna beat anybody i just talked about .. anybody "
