So far, anyone on a team run by Martin has sucked from what I've seen.

Good thing we only have retarded players, he'll feel right at home.

Actually the smarter players are doing just fine in Martin's system.

The 1st line and Pleks, Moen, Metro.

Agreed. Both are paid to score goals and put up offence, not to backcheck.

Carbo screwed Ryder up by trying to make him something he was not. The best Ryder was the one who waited to be set-up and potted one. Kind of like Brett Hull. Brett Hull was a terrible all around player, but no one cared because he produced.

Kostitsyn has the size, the talent and the speed to be successful. He's Kovalev-lite or Nedeved-lite. Except those two actually put together good seasons once in a while, the problem was that they had enough talent to do much more.

AK needs to play with someone like Kovy, who takes the pressure away from him. He'll excel playing with Gaborik.

Well if Sather had chosen Plekanec instead of Balej as he was offered to, he'd have done pretty well for himself in that trade too...

Boyle blows. His size isn't even a factor, he's not a hitter.

He does.

Who knows what he can bring in 3-4 years. He is big and don't have much NHL experience. But his future isn't on a top 3 line, its as a 4th line checker.

And in terms of 4th line checker abilitys -- he have none basically.

From a Rangers point of view Slats is probably looking for like a Higgins for AK or both brothers trade. Or if its a bigger trade, like Higg and Rozi for the AK and Gill -- or something like that.

I don't think he would make a bigger deal involving priced prospects for the brothers, if you are giving up like a Dubinsky, Anisimov and Grachev -- you don't do it for players with problems who never have scored more then 55 pts and who are making 3m per. The Heatly to NY trade fell apart because Slats wouldn't include Dubinsky.

The K brothers really have not proven all that much...
