If there's someone who can take Gionta place on the first line this year, it's Moses Metro! I don't get Kostitsyn on the fourth line though. Damn! Laraque's back...

Metro on the first line??? Are we officially the laughing stock of the NHL i sure do think so.

This teams depth at the forward position is pathetic.

He has 10 points in 14 games.

Obviously he won't keep that up, but at the moment that's basically what you'd ask of out of a good 2nd liner, borderline first liner. If the team's not scoring reward the guy who is actually getting points, regardless of what his role is supposed to be.

The bigger joke is White-Plekanec-Pyatt...

In bold are guys who have nothing to do in their current spot in the lineup.

I think even friggin' Jan Bulis could help us at the moment

I agree. It is really sad. We can peg the injured players song only for so long. With Markov back were maybe a 600 team max. Lats is absolute garbage.. i don't get the man crush on him... Max Pac deserves to be in the minors. We have 0 depth up front. We continiouly put 4th line bandaids on line 2... cause sadly its all we have.

I can't help but wonder why our 2nd- 4th line depth has completly evaporated!? If it wasn't for Pleks, Cammy, Gionta and Gomez we'd have a combined.... 14 goals from our forwards. Take away the 8 (4) each from Metro and Moen and we'd have 8 goals!!! from the rest of the 10 forwards.

You can't win if you can't score, I don't care how good your goaltending is.

I'm not an alarmist, but we need to bring in a top 6 winger for the 2nd line badly to shore up our top 6. Frolov, Sharp, Whitney... whoever! We desperately need some depth.

Kostitsyn has been playing well, and you put him on the 4th line? What the hell?

I never seen Carbo juggle this much. Besides putting Gorges on the 4th line one night, this is by far one of the worst line shufflings ive seen in a while

Bob must be telling himself, why did I called up White and Pyatt? Now, JM is in love with those guys and keeps playing them on top lines even though we're losing.

Metro replacing Gionta is actually a similar player, that one's ok.

Mix up the other three lines as follows:
Moen-Plekanec-Kostitsyn
Chiphcura-Pyatt-White
Lats-Laps-Laraque

If Patches returns for Tuesday, put him on 3rd line LW and move Chips to C the 4th line with Laps on RW.

Sergei?

Pacioretty is being turned into a 3rd/4th line grinder right now and he's on pace for 4 goals this year, so yeah let's keep him up instead of him gaining confidence by actually scoring in the AHL.

more like all the armchair coaches get upset when their favorite combinations don't get put together each match. JM is trying stuff and what does he have to lose? has the team scored at all this year? not much. he doesn't have much to work with but somehow people here seem to think there's magical combinations that will turn everything around. Stuff the whole Habs coaching team has never thought of... magical stuff from another world.

If I'm Plekanec there's absolutely no way I'm signing with the habs this summer.

White - Plekanec - Pyatt is just a sad second line. It's a shame that Plekanec can't seem to get good linemates as he's been playing so well this year. I think it's time to bring back Sergei and play the brothers with Plekanec. Hopefully playing together and having an important role will light a fire under the K's bottoms and we'll have a decent second line. Bob should tell them it's their last chance and if they don't get it going they're out of here.
