I have no idea, but they all sat out practice and their status is unknown for the game.

It's been too long since we've been shutout. Betting Backstrom is just salivating over our offense.

If Whitney wasn't part of the group I'd say that it was simply Maurice/JR sending a message. Hopefully it's not H1N1, frigin Okposo.

Both teams suck but there's two great things about this game for me...
1. It airs 20.30 pm in Finland, so I get to see my two favorite teams play each other. Prime time. From my brand new 42" TV.
2. Unless something really weird happens, one of my favorite teams is going to get a win tonight.

HURRICANES!

The Wild are freaking AWFUL, this is the game we end the streak. Although at this point I'm sort of enjoying the streak.

It's odd, once the streak is gone - we just suck. At least with the streak we're interesting while we suck.

Wild announcers in pregame: "Their playoffs hopes are hurting..."

Naw, really? We're 2-12-4. We aren't making anything but the lottery.

But hey, it's the job of announcers to state the obvious I guess.

Yeah, I'm stuck with them here on gamecast as well. Could be worse though, being a Wild game, it could be Pittsburgh's crew or Jack Edwards if we had to play either of those teams.

That would result in me muting and going with Chuck. I've never listened to the wild guys before, so I'll give them a chance, but that's plan B.

Yeah, it can always be hit or miss. But I remember these guys being not too bad when I was up there about 3 years back now for a wedding in Fargo. Although so far today they're making Tripp seem on-topic.

Oh, and to the people who've gone to a game this season: are they still doing the Jussi during the anthem as well as the Red?
