Portzline Tweets Garon to start .. Commie not sick

#CBJ G Mathieu Garon will start Monday vs. Edmonton.

#CBJ D Mike Commodore's blood results are in: "pristine." Still checking on vitamin levels, but no illnesses present.

Was not sure where these should go I looked back to page 3 and didnt see a Garon or a Commodore thread also thought it wouldnt hurt to have a thread for the tweets

Good, Garon earned it. A nice goalie competition should raise both their levels I'd hope

Good news that Commdore doesn't have a serious illness. When the Dispatch mentioned testing, my heart dropped. At least, it's not the big C.

I think "being fat" is probably better than him having a serious internal problem. At his age, there's a solution; not too many NHL-caliber players lose their legs at his age, even if he didn't a whole lot of them to begin with. He is still an integral part of our defense, and I will give him until December 1st before I make a judgement on him.

Does it always have to come down to me or Captain to speak the truth...

Mason is the worst 'starting goalie' in the league according to the statistics, a blind man would start Garon Monday. To be honest, Garon should be elevated to the starting position, Mason has not earned a starting spot this year.

As for Commodore, this season needs to be coined the year of misinformation... He's playing horrible and was scratched because he's no better now than he was during the playoffs last season.

Stop with the misinformatiom Hitchcock-not all of us are lemmings.

I don't have a problem with anything you said, but what about Tyutin?? He's yet to have a good game since about March, and he hasn't gotten scratched yet. No more deserves to sit a game or two more than Tyutin.

I do agree, but for some reason I can't even explain Toots- he seems to fly under the radar even by me. That said, he's not been that great so far this season...

I know many dislike Methot and I'll admit he's not impressed me much this year but he always seems to be in the line up? Even Portzline scratches him every game but he always plays.

Hey Aaron-what do you base your game day lines on? Message boards?

The thing with Mason is, he has looked like his old self for stretches this year, but never seemingly for more than 50 minutes at a time.
