According to the article on the game tonight on the Flyers' website, JVR should be playing tonight.

Yes and no. I came over to post how good a job MSE does. His is all class, and I love reading the summaries.

Ours is... well its all entertainment.

I'm pretty much 50/50 on this one, giving your team the edge tonight. Odds are we're bound to lose soon enough. We also have a horrible record when the Devils are on VS programming. Expecting a ton of fights, though.

That is such a bummer. I have Comcast in Harrisburg and DirecTv called me yesterday to see if I would switch, and I got into this huge argument with the lady because she assured me that I would get CSN and VS. I was like no, definitely not VS and maybe CSN, but it won't show the Flyers, it will be Pitt or Washington because I am in the Flyers market. And she was like getting all pissed and telling me I was wrong until I was like OK, show me the teams that I will be able to watch if I get this package. And she read off all the CSN teams, except Flyers, Phillies, and Sixers. But she still insisted I woul get VS. I hung up. Also she said Verizon DSL is faster than Comcast Cable. Come on.

I like both GDTs personally.

I'm hoping for a goalie fight personally.

Okay, the bigger news: Claude Giroux will be moved off the wing and back to center. That means a new line for him. He will skate between Darroll Powe and Arron Asham.

That also catapults Mika Pyorala to Mike Richards' line on RW with Scott Hartnell on the left side.

Here we go with the line changing. I bet he changes a line or more in the midst of the game.

Yeah, she was talking out of her butt. I like DTv a lot except for the versus games I won't get to watch, and from the sound of it it's due to Comcast expecting too much money to allow them to carry it. Stupid politics and greedy ********.

That's what I was thinking.

Stevens gets his lines by pulling names from a hat.

I do think Giroux is better at Center though. He should at least give him Pyorala

Didn't we try that line-up before? Quite honestly I'd rather try Powe with Richards and Hartnell than Pyörälä. I'm a bit disillusioned with Pyro now. But hey, he's got plenty of opportunity to change my opinion of him. The shootout winner last week was a start.

Asham would probably play with Richards over Powe, since he has played there this year already

I am alittle disappointed, being one of his biggest fans, but you can see he has that playmaking ability. What I did notice last week, that he wouldnt do alot before, is that he would carry the puck alot more, which he is surprisingly good at. He puts on the burners, and goes right through people and then looks for the pass. He's gonna start putting up points, I can feel it. He gets one in the net, I can bet they will start coming.

I was actually gonna edit that. I think Powe's speed will benifit Giroux like it did last year. This is where I would have wished Gagne was still healthy. Throw him on Richards wing again and we have

Hartnell-Richards-Gagne
JVR-Carter-Briere
Powe-Giroux-Pyorala
Carcillo-Betts-Lappy

Now I like that.
