hahah what is a better version of a 37 year old Scott Niedermayer? A 34-36 year old Scott Niedermayer? also niedermayer is like 36 now hahaha

Are these reports the ones that we will get once it will start for real or they are just tests and may change?

Not too be a ****** or nitpick, cause I really appreciate what you're doing, but I thought I'd listed speed as one of my positive attributes? Seems like I'm slow according to the scouts LOL
Edit: Is it cause of the player's my guy is like?

Scouting Report from Tony Feltrin and Bill Armstrong, of the St-Louis Blues. If scouts agree, only one report. If scouts disagree, 2 reports. BA is more geared toward potential (16/19), while TF is more of a pro scout (20/18).
Usypkev

TF and BA: Offensive d-men, first pair
Bigger, better version of lubomir Visnovky
Not an NHL at this point

I am quite satisfied with my comparison. Bigger Better version of Lubo is pretty awesome imo. Thanks for the Scouting reports!

They will obviously change. I mean, the potential is variable, and some attributes are random. Just wanted to give a hint of what I've done so far.

Your comparable DID infuence the original skill entry. Actually, your acceleration isn't that good, but your speed does.
However, it might all be like this because of the training you received as a junior.

It did the same for Borgoynov. Was supposed to be a pretty good skater, but first the random skill allocation, then training, made him turn into a full blown power forward who doesn't hit anybody.

Well, when I made the scouting reports, Niedermayer was 37, and lost some speed.

Sounds good. Can't wait to see how things turn out once the real thing starts. You're doing a great job MXD, .

You rolled an awful Determination score, which might explain.

This said (and it's worth for every player created), the scouts can be wrong.

Thanks for the clarification on my speed.
Also, I have a suggestion. If you weren't already planning on doing it, how bout some kinda feature on the WJCs? That'd be epic as hell
And it would obviously be owned by the USA

Well, there will certainly be reports if one of you goes.
Unlikely for the first year, but certainly possible afterwards.

Sweet. Aside from trash talking the London Ladies, I've been trash talking my Canadian/Russian teammates about the US' successes in the upcoming WJCs.

Puh-lease. Go control your Wheat Kingdom or something, and leave hockey to the real players. Plus, USA has no chance at all in the WJC, we all know Canada's a lock to win it.

Skilled forward, first liner
More talented version of Petr Sykora
Not an NHL'er
Just wondering, is my passing and creativity good on this roll? And what did my anticipation look like?

Because I find it weird to be compared to Petr Sykora. I don't recall Sykora having anything close to good goal-scoring instinct in Lidas' databse.

Actually...
You had great anticipation for a 19YO, last time I looked.
Creativity was okay. Nothing to make you a playmaker.
Passing was kindof corresponding to creativity.
your best two ratings were getting open and wristshots.

And your "average" junior season, including the 16 YO one, would be something around 35-35-70.

But you DID roll 1 in hitting.

I stopped the sim. I'll adjust a bit physical ratings (cause they don't seem to go up as much as technical ratings, especially skating), then I'll start the game.

The screenshots will likely be posted tomorrow.

What do you mean by roll? Does the database randomly ***** these or are you actually rolling, lol.

If you put in 0 for an attribute, it's a random value created at the start of the game.

If I'm not mistaken, it's based on your offensive/defensive ratings so they are consistent with the rest of your player attributes. It'd be kind of weird to see a 18/11 forward with great checking, pokecheck ability.

Ahhhhhhh that makes sense. Looking forward to seeing our players' development today!
...... And I'd like to know how bad London got killed in the Memorial Cup this year...
