That third line looks promising. That line needed another Quebecer.. Because they have the same nationality, they can speak more often together, etc.

PS: I miss the A.Kost-Pleks-Kovy when it used to work. They used to stay in the offensive zone the whole time and get so many scoring chances.

According to Habs Inside/out

For tonight's game:

Cammalleri-Gomez-Metro
Pacioretty-Plekanec-Kostitsyn
Latendresse-Lapierre-Moen
Stewart-Pyatt-White

Sounds about right, the 4th line could be interesting to watch if Pyatt & White can start a fire under Stew... mmmmmmh! Stew! aaaarrrhhhh

Sadly I think that as the time passes by, it's becoming clearer that sergei will not play for the habs anytime soon as in never again...

I can't see any other explanation why we aint calling him back. who cares about his production in the AHL, he stayed there long enough..
anyways, it's not as if we will suddenly become a playoff contender with im back..

at this again, have a blast putting white and pyatt on the,,,,, on with,,, no way,.. on the same line as our most productive guy this season.

Please man..that's ridiculous.

Putting players of the same background together doesn't assure in any way a good chemistry.
People of the same nationality can hate their guts too you know??..

These are really reasonably decent lines, with Metro being a decent fill-in with Gionta out. Thank goodness the coach seems to have ditched the lines from Sunday. Guess I, for one, complained too early.

I'm still not sure that I see MaxPac as a second liner, but since the alternative is Latendresse and despite his puck possession numbers having him there would blow this board up, I'll run with that. In reality MaxPac also has pretty good puck possession numbers, so that may work out, although I wish MaxPac demonstrated any kind of scoring touch someday. He's hardly the only one on the schneid, mind you, it's just that he doesn't have the scoring history that an AK46, say, has.

How useful is that for in game results? Most players can speak english anyways. Samsonov and Kovalev were terrible together even tho they are russian, I don't see language making or breaking chemistry.

Apperently you can get better results if you yell "passe" instead of "pass" or "forecheck" instead of.... "forecheck"?

Rediculous comment threw and threw

You people just feed off each other, thats why no one bothers to argue with anybody here.

You are so positive about your idea's. So and so has 2 goals now so they are on a pace for4 goals, nonsense.

You love a guy until he has played 8 or 9 games then turn on him.

Can't you have a little confidence, can't you take a wait and see attitude.......It is not like he is breaking up a winning combination.

No lines are written in stone.

Too much fuss about practice lines. And everyone here ought to realize by now that JM will adjust the lines as the game unfolds.

Who wants to play for a Coach who keeps punishing them all the time?

Took you 20 games to officially turn on a coach....we need toe, toe, toe...all star team all star team......Scotty, Scotty, Scotty...hall of fame team....hall of fame team.

Would you settle for a healthy coach and a good roster.

how about an unhealthy coach and a good roster

how about a coach that is not afraid to tinker with the lineup because he does not have a healthy line up.

You can't explain much with 3 line posts.

How does them speaking french affect their play on the ice? You do know that Lapierre and Latendresse probably talk hockey in english anyways?

Do not like. Why pair O'Byrne up with MAB on his first game back, and against the caps...? And why are we giving Metro such terrible wingers.

They should switch White and Moen. I'd like to see what White can do in an offensive role.

According to Canadiens.com and RDS Stewart has been sent down to Hamilton for conditioning purposes.

Strange timing... Interesting reason too, the kid is not in shape I suppose.

Or just to get him into some games before he gets promoted to the first line after Moen, Pyatt, Laraque and White fail at their attempts.
