I am a season ticket holder with the eagles the only way Adam is not making that team is an injury. This kid is amazing he is one of if not the best forward in the q,for that matter he is one of the best 19 year olds in the country
I think he's in the mix, but personally I don't like his chances. I don't see him filling a top six scoring role and his defense/backchecking/play without the puck isn't good enough to merit a spot on a checking line, so if he makes it, it will be on an energy type line, which really then becomes a coinflip.
Yeah, you're probably right Kevin. Adam is a wonderful scorer, he can do a lot of things with the puck and when he's in the offensive zone, but that's probably all. He has chances to make to team, but I think TC will prefer a OHL/WHL product if they have to make a choice...
If I was the Eagles GM, I would try to acquire Deschamps and/or Lagacé from Chicoutimi. They had some crazy chemistry going on last night. They ended up scoring 4 of the 8 goals of team QMJHL.
Victoriaville will probably offer something like Doré or Lamarche + 1st pick + something else for Deschamps. You'll need more than Shaw and a first round pick.
As an example, DiDomenico cost Gingras, Giroux, a first and a second pick. The second pick came back for Hoffman.
I can translate it to something like Cuzner + Le Sieur + 1st rd + 2nd round and trade Horyl or Brodeur to Chicoutimi for the second round pick this summer.
But still, comparing Deschamps to DiDomenico is a long shot.

If not Chi what other team will be selling at xmas?Also will vic trade to run this year. So many questions i know but you have q knowledge is max sauve available at the right price. And our ol buddy will def move allen this year for sure he will never get caught in a houle fleury dilemma again any in site. or just general info on who will move at xmas

thanks for that serge ,but lets face it maybe bc or rim (who i forgot ) pei will not let doyle go in the atlantic. he would rip it in the cape, i think the sea dogs will bust in goal and their big blue will choke

thanks for that serge i will run with this to work but we can't take a 20 unless halifax is ready for one of those trades again give us knotek for jan piskacek and then shaw for mahbod only atlantic happening eagles want deschamp but we will settle for borque. Unless mario can pull a blockbuster (ellis)

I'm not denying that. He's playing well. All of my comments have a lot more to do with the way that Hockey Canada brass have chosen their U-20 team over the past 10 years than it has to do with Adam's individual accomplishments.
He has a shot, he's earned that much with his play. But it is far from a slam dunk and personally, I don't think he'll be on the team. I might be wrong and I'll willingly eat crow if I am. I must confess ignorance to who he will be competing for a roster spot with from the OHL and the WHL.
Even Strength Sources are telling Even Strength this last week that Eagles GM & Head Coach Mario Durocher is looking into trading for Patrice Cormier because he is saying now that they got Luke Adam might as well go for it. Names to have heard to be going is LeSieur , Shaw, Nikita Pivtsakin, Holden (Which would see Dupud going to Cape Breton as well) and draft picks. Also heard to be in the mix for Mario is Tomas Knotek. I guess we will see around X-mas time folks

We would have to give Hertzberg & Shaw and pick for Knotek,LeSieur our first and holden 3rd for cormier.Even if we could do that Would that be enough? Either way it would be quite the team, Hell lets send ellis at the draft and bring Deschamp for a run
