None, 0%.
If this move was made with that hope in mind then Torts is truly desperate and starting to panic.
What else does your crystal ball say? I'd trust the coaches who have total access to all the players, including practices, injuries, etc, to try whatever ideas they think might work. And if they think giving the third line some more jam is worth experimenting with, well -- why the hell not? It's not like they're doing anything else out there. What doesn't make sense is trying the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result (see Lisin, Enver, first line, PP). If ever there was a time to experiment, this is it.

Seriously.........there has to be a discussion and concern over Lisin and Brashear.....OMG, seriously.........these two players, no matter where they are ..........does not make a difference in this team......seriously.......everyone has to step up and contribute.....whatever happened to safe is death......we started losing when we reverted back to tom renney style....open it back up......attack. attack, attack, attack ok!

Indeed, like putting the same failing roster on the ice every night and expecting them to play better in a re-arranged combination.

If he thought like this the team would probably be better. There's nothing that gets you out of slump like extreme pessimism.

Sorry, I had hoped this team would actually be a little better than last year.

Agreed, this move probably just has to do with his broken foot.

I noticed Torts kept demoting Lisin during the last game and I assume it was because of his foot. However, Lisin wasn't exactly doing anything too special anyway, and players like PAP have outplayed him and earned the right to get more minutes than him.

I have no issue with Lisin being placed on the 4th line, but promoting Brashear to the 3rd line concerns me a bit.

yes, i know where we are at, i also know weve had injury issues, and a cold month...im confident in this team and not at all worried. ive seen enough good signs to know this team is close to turning it around.

The team needs to replace Rozsival with a hard-hitting, punishing defenseman, that can log 20 minutes.

Then i'd be less concerned.

The team is too easy to push around right now.

Can't hurt. Lisin hasn't done much with the broken foot.

Can't see it lasting the whole game though unless Donald creates some chances with his size.

Because THAT hasn't been said 800 times in every thread on this board now.

Lisin bashing tends to stick to GDTs and Lisin threads.

Bashing our pansy ass defense (which I agree with, actually) is as commonplace as *****ing and moaning about Redden, Rozsival and Drury.

I fully agree that our defense is softer than a baby's ass, but the cynics on this board are starting to actually become annoying. And I'm a bigtime cynic. The positives have outweighed the negatives so far, yet we only hear of the negatives.

Inferno mentioned how he thinks the team will be fine.

I mentioned how i would be less concerned if we had that tough guy on the blue line to protect our franchise goaltender.

maybe Torts wants Brashear to hit people with body-checks instead of fists?

Man if we all said every little thing we dont get, this board would be full. Seriously big deal the way Torts shuffles around line does it make much difference. Also i havent seen much of Lisin recently, and Brasher who gets paid 1 and a hlaf could use a chance to play with people other than Voros

Doesn't really matter much. Won't effect anything to any extreme (good or bad). But it goes to show you the situation the team is in when Tortorella is trying desperately to find something to turn around the nosedive the team has taken. And the culmination of all his brainstorming ends with, "AHAH!!! I'VE GOT IT!!!!!"... and this happens.

Seriously, if this is used in a game I'm gonna wanna punch Torts in the face. WTF is he thinking?

I'm sick of this juggling of the lines ****, let some chemistry develop for ****s sake. I thought this was a Renney thing but as someone pointed out it seems to just be a Ranger thing.

Rozi on 1st PP unit? *puts gun in mouth and pulls trigger*

Rozy on the first PP unit will hopefully turn his season around. Hopefully we get to see the06-07 Rozsival again.
