And if it were career team, Messier still shouldn't be top line center... he wouldn't even be 2nd line center.

Boucher & Ratelle would be ahead of him, IMO.

That single vote for Bure is mine. In his very limited time here and playing on one knee BEFORE the lockout, Pavel man was scoring at a 50 goal/season pace and playing with lots of heart. He was a god among man, and he edges out JJ just barely for my #1.

And your point?
Jagr actually scored over 50 goals and 120 points and was robbed of Hart trophy. Cant believe you're serious...

A franchise that worships it's 94 team and players like they are gods I don't understand what Kovalev did to anyone and why I am the only one who thinks he should win this. The guy who played a KEY role in winning us our only cup in all of our livetimes shouldn't be first? Unreal. Jagr? The guy who won 2 cups with the PENS and eliminated us along the way?

Messier doesn't have his huge night without Kovy and we lose the Devils series. That alone should buy him more than one vote. Jagr himself said Kovalev was one of the most talented players he every played with.

Right, having a different opinion means I can't be serious. I maintain that if Bure played with a playmaker in a post-lockout NHL, he'd break all kinds of records. I'm not discounting what Jagr did, but for me Bure is just a tad more awesome.

These polls are for the last decade.

That means from the year 2000 to 2010.

Kovalev played a grand total of 90 games in that 10 year span. Registering 23 goals.

Guys/Gals, please remember the original poster's intent.

These polls are for the last decade. 2000 till 2010.
