Just wondering is it at the sheraton hotel right next to the bell center?

Not sure about the wings but
60% of teams Sheraton on Rene Lesveques
and 30% Marriott/
The other 10% random.

I forgot the name of the hotel, but I saw the Jackets players a few years ago leaving the hotel opposite of Hôtel de la Montagne (on de la Montagne street).

Wrong! Nearly 90% (including referees) stay at the Marriott Chateau Champlain and walk to the arena from St. Antoine to and from practice etc.

I know because:

1) I have met several players at the Marriott and on St. Antoine
2) My friend works at the Chateau Champlain and has personally served NHL stars

Last year I saw players from Devils leaving Sheraton on Rene Levesque and a lot of people were waiting outside to get autograph.

Interesting because the NHL signed a partnership with Starwood a few years back I know prior to that you are correct as I think Serge Savard had something to do with the ownership of that hotel but in the last couple years I have seen Leafs/Sens/Flyers/Panters/Stars and a few other teams stay at the Sheraton.

Early in the morning, I saw some players of the Calgary Flames (during their last visit) going out of the Queen Elizabeth. I don't know if they slept there during the night or they just had a breakfast at the «Le Montrealais» (Restaurant located on the first floor)

There was also a lot of Flames' fans who were waiting for them

I am sure each team mixes it up somewhat...I wouldn't think it would be the same one each time....

I know that the Flames stayed at the W when they were here last week. The bruins have stayed at the sofitel before also.

I usually stay at the Marriott when I go see a game in Montreal and sometimes the opposing teams have been there, sometimes they haven't been. I have also seen numerous NHL officials in the lounge after games.

Vogue...last year, I saw Jason Blake walking out of there a few hours before the Leafs/Habs game. For some strange reason, I decided to mildly heckle him and walk towards him...he looked genuinely freaked out, and pretty much ran into Ogilvy. True story.

I talked to some employees at the Sheraton the day after the Avs were in town and he told me that they were staying at the Sheraton, and that a lot of teams stay there while in town. I'd be surprised if 90% stay at the Marriott.

why do I get that feeling this thread may have just contributed to the delinquency of a minor?

Ha ha, you know, I have some friends who work at some of these hotels. We could potentially get their room numbers and call them throughout the night. Especially during the playoffs!
