Got a point playing Detroit when we were down 2-0.

Also we got a win vs Wash. then a point playing Detroit when we had many key injuries. I would call that good results.

Good job men.

You have to be happy with 3 out of 4 points this weekend against two top teams with half a lineup.

Price held the team in it. Tough shoot out.

Cammalleri is golden. Loved the signing from day one.

Gutsy effort defensively especially with all the PKs.

Bergeron still belongs in the AHL.

Laraque is useless. Some of these decisions by Martin are questionable. MAB on the ice late in the game.

And the lack of PP's is pissing me off. Montreal might not have a good one but its getting stupid. The refs basically decided to take the last 2 periods off and let every thing go after calling everything in the first. The habs either need to start diving or hire an acting coach on how to draw penalties because there was some blatant ones tonight.

Getting 1 point > Getting 2 points and losing Kronwall.

No more BGL. I'd rather put Leach in MAB's spot and put MAB in BGL's spot.

I agree, while most of the 1st period ones were deserved, Detroit got away with a couple in the third, and the blatant trip in the 3rd or OT (I forget) really should have been called.

It is a shame because 5 on 5 we were the better team.

«J'ai dit à Bob qu'il fallait 4 ou 5 Québécois» -Jean Lapointe

Idiot.

Out of town, all the games in the East were ended in regulation (aside from the Laffs/Caps game, but who cares about that one?) so that was a gain on everyone for us.

If we are healthy and everyone comes back I don't think White and Pyatt deserve demotions, they are great and on the 2nd unit for the PK!

First loss in SO, but this game has so many positives...

- Kostitsyn, Pleks & Cammalleri were $$$ tonight, hopefully they can be our top line for the stretch without Gionta and GOmez
- Kudos to JM. His system is sinking in and making us a competitive team despite all the injuries. Our 5v5 play is really good, while our PK seems fixed. PP should be coming along as well
- This was Bulldogs vs Detroit and yet wecame back into the game and got a point out of it
- Kostitsyn and Price are BACK (and so is OB!!)

The bad:

BGL - without that 6 min penalty, do we win this game? Either way, BGL is playing himself not only out of the team, but out of the NHL
- As much as I like JM's coaching overall, I don't get why he keeps icing Bergeron in key situations like when there's only 2 min left to the 3rd, its tied, and Datsyuk-Zetterberg are on the ice

Anyway...I think we played a great game!

3 out of 4 points against WSH and DET with this lineup? I'll gladly take it.
We would have won in regulation if Laraque wasn't such an useless pile of crap.

Lappy and Lats are the ones who should be demoted if the trend persists.

I think Pyatt should stay, White should eventually go down IMO.

To be honest.. I thought this weekend would be 0 points out of 4.. and not even close games. Put Jay Leach in MAB's spot.. play MAB as a forward in laraque's spot.. should be better. I think O'byrne and Leach would do very well together.

I agree. One of the few who knows how to deliver a good hit on this team.

Both should stay...
I would trade Latendresse along with Halak for a Physical Winger to play with Pleks and Andrei

I'm really impressed how well we played 5 on 5 against them. Believe it or not those were the only 2 shootout goals against we've had this season despite this being our 5th shootout game. If only we could cut down on the penalties.

I agree...they are a big part of our PK recovery IMO. They show great hockey sense for the little time they have spent in the NHL so far IMO.

Glad to see that not ALL our prospects down at the farm are useless.
