Cammalleri is golden. Loved the signing from day one.

Gutsy effort defensively especially with all the PKs.

Bergeron still belongs in the AHL.

Laraque is useless. Some of these decisions by Martin are questionable. MAB on the ice late in the game.

And the lack of PP's is pissing me off. Montreal might not have a good one but its getting stupid. The refs basically decided to take the last 2 periods off and let every thing go after calling everything in the first. The habs either need to start diving or hire an acting coach on how to draw penalties because there was some blatant ones tonight.
Agree more than 100% hahah.

1 man cost us this game. The team, everyone, played well (Barring the 3 L's of course. Lapierre, Latendresse, Laraque).

Is it just me or does Latendresse go for a hit when he should go for the puck and go for the puck when he should be hitting???

The guy just doesn't seem to have any hockey sense.

i noticed that in the third. The first forechecker had already forced a bad play by the defenseman and instead of Lats just grabbing the lose puck, he lets it go by and goes for one of his patented weak ass hits.

I wonder if Lats has learned anything tonight watching the team that has mastered the art of playing in front of the net. Lats had plenty of time watching from the bench...

Is it me or OB's return has really stabilized our D corps? He's really blooming into that big shutdown D we need so much.

I agree. I think he could do even better playing along side Jay Leach and not MAB. It seems like Obyrne is always covering for MAB's helter skelter style of play.

Definitely and its also nice to see a right handed defenseman on the ice. Hopefully BG has learned his lesson that having defenseman that are all left handed doesn't work.

Despite losing and someone being the ultimate bonhead it's a satisfying comeback point, ultimately 3 of 4. Two goals allowed yet still some endlessly admirable PKing kept the boys in it.
Keep flying, AK.

Let this be the end of Laraque. So utterly useless and costly in more ways than one. ugh

Amazing what consistent goaltending can do for the confidence of a team. We came back from being down 2-0 to Detroit! Lots of character on this team courtesy of Mr Gainey starting to show itself.

Agree with you, I was expecting him to need a few games to get back into a rhythm but he's been pretty damn solid for his first two games back after missing 20.

Having him back has helped us cut down on Hamr and Spacek's minutes which is great also.

Once Gill comes back MAB can jump down to 7th D and then when Markov returns BYE BYE MAB!

It is a shame because 5 on 5 we were the better team.
Anytime Dave Jackson officiates one of our games, you have to expect it.

I'm sure Allan Walsh added tonight's Shootout loss to his tweet log.

Gorges has been playing excellent hockey also and Mara led our D-men in ice-time tonight.
