Uh okay well I've been a huge fan of Mueller since is WHL days. Even though he hasn't been getting along with the GM, his value is still way better than Lats, Laps, Chips and a 2nd or Laps, Carle and a 2nd. I'd go on the Phoenix boards and inquire about his value if there are any fans alive over there.

Gomez for Mueller.

The Coyotes won't do it though they can barely pay Mueller's cap hit.

Nothing sets the value of a player more accurately than the opinion of fans on a hockey board.

Do any of you really think that Sergei Kostitsyn has any value right now?

1) He has off ice issues
2) He has threatened to leave to Russia
3) He does not have a strong character (example: asking for a trade when sent down)

I mean, really???

Bring him in and make him a third line centre this season or even 4th, we can definately develop him into a top six forward and top line centre of the future.

First two seasons in Phoenix were good on horrible teams!

so...you're going to offer a 3rd line center, a 7th D and a 2nd round pick..for a former 1st round pick and he has potential to be a top-6 forward?

I mean, really???
2) and 3) can be resolved by letting him play in the NHL. He reacted those ways because he was sent down.
1) a lot of players also have off ice issues.

Not saying he's worth a lot. But most def not nothing.

And he's looking more and more like a flop. With guys like that, it's better to wait until their team gives up on them and let them go for free.

Phoenix would probably ask for A.Kost for a guy like Mueller, if not more. There is no way we'll get this kid out of there with piles or crap like Chipchura, Carle, picks or even S.Kost.

Honestly how often in a game do we hear one of those borderline homosexual comments... it's usually about latendresse though, and they bring it up about AK too about every game

Lets try a comparable trade with the best player leaving montreal.

To PHX: Andrei Kostistyn

To MTL: Sami Lepisto, Daniel Winnik, 2nd round pick

Would you make this trade if your Montreal????

I'd definitely be interested as long as the price is right. Nothing against Halak but if it can get us Mueller I'd be prepared to move him along with a young prospect for Mueller(not Subban or Pacioretty).

Mueller has great talent and could be the player we need,if he is that much of a problem we could give them our own problem in Sergei
