The importance of this game CAN'T be overstated. Detroit has been falling like flies and Nashville HAS to capitalize on their opponent's weakness.

Preds win 25-2

Despite our momentum, you just know we're gonna lose if for no other reason than all the obnoxious red jerseys in the Sommet Center. God I hate the Red Wings. It's visceral.

We are 3-0 in big games that I have to miss this season.
Im going to see Switchfoot tonight at the Exit In, so naturally we are going to win and I wont be around to see it.

Tonight is the first night I get to hate DirecTV for their lack of Versus. And a big **** you to Comcast for good measure.

Ought to be a good one. I hope the RW walk ups help curtail the hit attendance will take because of Titans on MNF.

Everyone better get ready for the Nashville doesnt deserve a team talk in this thread. Between a Monday game during a time when people go on vacation, an early start time, and the Titans playing I would be surprised if 12k showed up

Ive been worried about the past two games and Im worried about this one. Maybe its good or maybe its bad, lets go boys.

To be honest, I'd be surprised if it's under 15K tonight. The tennessean said "limited tickets still available," and Monday or not, it's an early start and it's the Red Wings.

I hope I can catch SOME of this game as I have a Differential Equations test tomorrow and will be cramming accordingly. W, L, or O, we've done pretty well for ourselves lately.

17-8 Redwings

I'm leaving work early to drive the whole 5 minutes to the arena so I can be there in all my good luck charm glory. My record remains intact.

It's a fishwrap conspiracy. They're going to report games as close to being sold out to drive away walk ups. OH NOES!

Great first period. Arnott with a PP goal, Rinne looking solid. 40 more hard minutes for 2 points.

Arnott came through! Whoo! Ok Leggy, Weber, get one, and then lets have a wildcard get one also. Hornqvist, Santorelli,....

I wonder if Legwand has grabbed much sleep since his son was born?

Come on Preds. Some good hitting, keep it going. Talk to each other defense... I'm knocking on wood, but I really feel good about the defense in the streak and just before. Starting to look like the real good dee that we'd been hoping they could round into. I guess the forwards have been a big part of it, but the defense has been so much better then early.
