Pouliot - Pyatt - White

With Segei and Pouliot possibly changing places. Lapierre, D'Ago, and Laraque without a defined role in the longer term... except that Metro won't be here forever, so we'll either need Lappy then, or someone to fill in until Leblanc/Maxwell are ready.

Markov-O'Byrne
Hamrlik-Mara
Spacek-Gorges
Leach

MAB and Gill with no long term role. Chuck them into any trade. Carle not brought in full time until Spacek is gone. PK not full time until Hammer is gone.

I'm okay with this, on paper.

edit: I keep forgetting about Chipchura... who also has no defined role on the team right now. Wonder what Chips + Lappy + D'Ago + could get nowadays in a trade?

Cammalleri-Plekanec-Kostitsyn - too good to break up now

Pouliot-Gomez-Gionta - could be good

Sergei-Metropolit-Moen - checking line

Pyatt-Lapierre-White - energy line

Pacioretty to Hamilton. If we must keep him then have him play instead of Moen who replaces White, who then alternates with the other dudes on the 4th line. If Pouliot doesn't pan out Sergei replaces him on the second line. I think Sergei could be more useful on the 3rd line because he's better defensively and can get ice time as a PP specialist.

Laraque waived, placed permanently on IR orforced into early retirement somehow.

Markov-OByrne (Spacek replaces O'Byrne when we need a goal)
Hamrlik-Gorges
Spacek-Mara

Gill (I think he's 7D at this point but he'll play, theres no way we won't have all 7D healthy for a game). MAB is kept as a spare part.

Metropolit and Moen are one of our best duo, there's no reason to put them on different lines.

Yeah I think Martin works with duos too, he's stated it before. Currently we can clearly identify a few of them :

X-Gomez-Gionta (duh)
Cammalleri-Plekanec-X
Moen-Metropolit-X

Plekanec and Kostitsyn might be a duo too, they've played together most of the year except when Andrei was punished on the 4th line. This is why I think the CPK line stays as it is. Pacioretty, Pouliot and Sergei should compete to win a spot with the two Gs.

The Fatendresse trade, Pacioretty playing better and Sergei being recalled really enhances our potential top6 winger depth...

This is what I'd like to see as far as forwards go:

Cammalleri - Plekanec - A. Kost
S. Kost - Gomez - Gionta
Pacioretty - Metropolit - Moen
Pouliot - Pyatt - White

Extra: Lapierre, Chipchura, D'Agostini, Laraque.

To many extras.

Although, when it comes to our fourth line it's a crapshoot. Anyone but Laraque on it imho. With Puliot injured Lapierre could take his spot.

The first two lines look ok, obviously Pouliot is a long shot at hitting a home run on a change of scenery. Certainly Gomez and Gionta would be great role models for a kid like that.

To me, Pyatt is more of a checker and Metropolit a secondary offensive player that has picked goals up off the forecheck/cycle.

Moen-Pyatt-Sergei= checking line
Pacioretty-Metropolit-White = energy line

I prefer Moen on his natural LW and playing the shutdown role. He has the experience to do so and complement Pyatt's skills.

Lapierre may be the 13th forward here. Of course this depends on Pouliot panning out. I'm sure he'll get a chance.

Spacek OB/Gill

Its a long shot with Pouliot, but I figure we got him as he is a big LW with more speed than Lats, so he can most likely keep up. If not, then try Patches.

If Skosts stint works out well, then I would send down Patches, and change between Pouliot and Skost and see who fits best where.

Cammalleri - Gomez - Gionta
S. Kostitsyn - Plekanec - A. Kostitsyn
D'Agostini - Metropolit - Pouliot
Moen - Lapierre - Pyatt/Laraque

Markov - Hamrlik
Spacek - Mara
Gill - Gorges

Even though the Plekanec, A. Kostitsyn and Cammalleri line is doing well I'd like to see the original first line back together. And I think the brothers could be great with Plekanec. Metropolit leads youngsters Pouliot and D'Agostini. I would send Pacioretty and White back to Hamilton. The only sad thing is leaving O'Byrne out, but I don't see Gill sitting out. Who knows if we're ever going to have all defensemen healthy at the same time this year anyways...

Injuries suck, this team looks so good...

I think Cammy did his job getting AK going. Now put the brothers with Pleks, and the big line together.

Not sure where Pouliot fits in. Shoulda gone for more of prospect...

I really like these lines....but I would also like to see the bros together again in something like this....

Cammy - Gomez - Gionta
SK - Plecks - AK
Pouliot - Metro - Moen
Patches - Lappy - White

The quoted defensive lins are pure gold tho.

Any possibility of Pouliot being put back at center? Even if he's not its nice to see our traditional center depth problem was taken care of. We have what, 9 natural centers on 15 forwards?

Gomez, Plekanec, Metropolit, Lapierre, Cammalleri, Pouliot, Pyatt, White, Chipchura...

At the very least it means that our many of our forwards will have extensive face-off experience and hopefully that will translate into a better team FO %.

My lines have changed with the acquisition and recalling of Kostitsyn.

With Gionta seemingly out for another 4ish weeks & Markov still gone awhile, I'd go with;

Cammalleri - Plekanec - Andrei
Sergei - Gomez - D'Agostini
Pacioretty - Metropolit - Moen
Pyatt - White - Pouliot
EX: Chipchura, Lapierre

Hamrlik - Spacek
Mara - Gorges
Bergeron/Gill - O'Byrne

This will tell us the forward(s) who stay in the line-up when Gionta is healthy between;
Pouliot, D'Agostini, Pacioretty, Sergei, White, Pyatt, Lapierre - since two of the previous will need to be in the pressbox/minors.

I prefer having the brothers on separate lines, but with the option of putting them together for instant chemistry if we need a spark or changeup at times.

Cammalleri-Plekanec-AKost
Pouliot-Gomez-Gionta
Moen-Pyatt-SKost
Patches-Metropolit-Lapierre/White

Markov-O'Byrne
Hamrlik-Gorges
Spacek-Mara

Other 2 spares: Leach, Bergeron
Waive: Laraque, Stewart
Trade: Gill, Chipchura

Everyone here is waiving/trading/scratching Gill... Have you guys seen our defensive zone play since he's been gone?

Look at Price stats since Gill was injure. The reason why the habs are that poor in defense is MAB! When Markov will replace him, it won't be the same thing!
