i was talking to a few locals at the bar after the game. One guy was from Calgary and grew up a huge flames fan, but also now a Ducks fan after being in So. Cal for 18 years. He introduced me to his wife, or sister, or something (attractive in any event) girl next to him and she played professionally with or against Cammi Granato. Details are fuzzy cuz i was pretty bombed at the time

thinking about it, i think i had about 18 beers total. 10 on the bus down, 3 tall ($10 sheesh) beers at the game, 3 sierra nevadas post-game bar, and 2 on the bus home.

...and 4 peanut-butter jelly sandwiches!!

you have no idea brother! (sorry just watched a hulk hogan video and still pumped lol) Man it sucks being a hockey fan in one of the worst hockey markets in North America. I can sit down and talk with about 5 people that I have meet that actually know hockey and know the Ducks.

It's nice to have a nice Ducks fan post around here. Not much maturity is going on at HF's Ducks board. I can only single two normal guys out of their entire group.

Time out. Aren't you the gentleman who complained yesteday and the day before when Sharks fans posted on your board?

Oh the irony. Although I'm sure you'll find you're very welcome here. Anyhow, I didn't know they sold out every game of 07-08, that's very impressive.

Yeah but it's more fun to think that you didn't. For instance, you didn't actually beat us in the playoffs last season. It was actually our evil nemesis Sharks players who were playing you guys, and their number one goal was to destroy our hopes and dreams.

Are you talking sold out as in tickets being sold? Or actual arena attendance....I been to the game where the Sharks clinched their pacific division title on your home ice, with youtube videos of empty seats.

Wow, youtube videos and everything. Somehow every opposition fan turns into Rain Man when attending a game at the Pond. "Definitely not a sellout. Definitely not."

That game is listed as standing room only, by the way.

Well, it wouldn't be very difficult to notice any large empty spaces in a crowd.

You are in the Sharks forum just so you know.

Being sold out and actual attendance are two totally different things. Sat night may have been sold out, but actual attendance was no where near matching that.

It wasnt intentional...blame the cup holders. Duck fans like to throw beer though.
