couple of questions.. can people drink on the bus? after the game do you guys go to bars or just head straight out?
some people could definitely throw them down! i couldn't believe 'Hurley' had what, 3 or 4 40s? I haven't even seen that in my college days.
2 was DRUNK
3 was FLOORED
but to answer your question -- absolutely yes. and we had a little agreement that if sharks won we'd go to the bars and if not we might just want to go home. either way, we would have a meeting spot outside the front of the arena again to discuss.
i personally would stay and go to Lazy Dog's again, despite the score, just to hang out more with the So. Cal folks.
but man, the whole trip's success is so incredibly contingent on a Sharks win. it made it 1000x better.
I'm almost positive my mom and I will be going again. It's too bad the game on 3/13 against the Panthers is a day game, otherwise we could all head down to Anaheim after the game lol. If they don't change my schedule, I'll have class/lab at 11:15 to 12:30 and then 3 to 9:30 the day after the trip. I just hope I don't have a test that day lol.
Edit: We might just fly down on Saturday instead to visit my cousins, and then all of us will join you guys there at the game.
My Ducks account manager (I still hate saying that!) says that all of the usual larger group perks for 3/14 are reserved because it's Children's Hospital of Orange County Night, however, he said they'd try to come up with a perk for our group, but it'll be Duck-related. I wonder if we could convince them to do a period break puck shooting contest between some Ducks fans and some Sharks fans. We could raffle or auction off the spots during the bus ride.
