Erat has to lift those pucks up, though. That should have been a goal. Ozzy was lying down on the ice, and three Wings must have been thinking about Turkey Day dinner.

Erat and Legwand have been playing a lot better lately, especially Legwand....who always has his defensive game but who's offensive game was inconsistent at best to start the year.

not a great period, but we have the lead. 20 more minutes of solid predators hockey boys.

Man, we were getting outshot bad for so much of that period. I almost swear it stayed in our end for five minutes at a stretch.

Nice win. Good job guys!

Detroit owned us in puck possession for most of the third, but a GREAT game for Rinne. Not a bad one from the rest of the boys either. ERAT!

Bears or Vandy cap? If so probably a former Vanderbilt/Cutler fan who saw a flimsy excuse to get rid of it.

EEEEEErat!!!

Rinne made some great saves to hold that lead in the third period.

We could have had at least 2 more goals if Erat, Goc lift the puck off the ice.

Not to complain on such a good night, but there was a play where Dumont and a Wing were battling for the puck and the Wing's stick broke. Dumont started to carry the puck into the Wings zone with the now stick-less Wing. Dumont decided to curl around just inside the blueline. If he goes straight towards the net there the Wing will either grab him and take a penalty or Dumont gets a breakaway from the blueline. Just a little missed opportunity.

Holy crap we were the first game on On the Fly. We souded loud!

I wasn't paying much attention since I was studying, but there was a point when one of our guys passed to Hornqvist from outside the blue line and Hornqvist was just standing there like 'huh?'. I lol'ed.

These past 6 games may have been some of the best hockey Ive ever seen the Preds play. Out are playing like a more defensive Detroit, control the puck to draw penalties and kill the other team on special teams.

I also loved on the postgame show Trotz seemed mad about the 3rd period. Not much talk about the win just how the team played not to lose and not playing to win. It made my night that the team wants to still get better.

Which is pretty much a shot at the captain

interesting tidbits

Attendance:14410

Hornqvist with less than 10 minutes

only 4 shots in the 3rd period.

This team is awesome right now. Amazing what PP goals and goaltending will do for you!

As the distant observer of the Preds, note, the Preds attendance has been steadily gone up each game this year. As the team sucks less the attendance has been going up.

Tough circumstances for Monday, not that it was any excuse.

early game, titans on MNF.

If the titans wouldn't have stoped sucking so bad, we would have had more folks there.
