I had this issue as well, but I periodically checked back and I think finally in the 3rd, I checked and the HD feed was there. so, I dn't know when it ultimately popped on 660-1, but at least sometime in the 3rd it was there.

I have to say that I was wrong. I was happy that Gare was going to be replace by Davidge, but no longer. Davidge was fine on the radio with George Matthews but him and Rimmer together SUCK. If they are going to keep Rimmer they need someone to balance him out. We all know Rimmer has no idea what he is saying most of the time, but Davidge is saying things that are just as wrong and stupid. The team drives me nuts as it is, I don't need the broadcast team to do the same.

Davidge is awful to listen to. I would pay good money to have Gare back instead of him. He's Captain Obvious. And the fluff that comes out of his mouth is sickening. I'm sure he's a great guy, but as a commentator, he's like fingernails on a chalkboard.

He got his job on television based on his long term reputation as a Yes Man on the radio, I think.

Good to see he hasn't stopped doing what got him there.

I'm with the Howitzer and LCN - Davidge and Rimmer are a terrible match. Actually, I'm not real fond of either pair, at the moment, and I usually just turn off the sound and watch while listening to music (until I scream at the play on the ice and change the channel!).

These guys are all fearful of losing their jobs after Day and Gare got the ax. CBJ and FSO have made yes men out of these guys. Granted it wouldnt bother me if they all got the ax, aside from Matthews.

Don't be so sure of that.

I'm noticing a pattern here.. Rimer and Engblom were decent thanks to Engblom but he bolts after one year, Rimer and Gare suck, Rimer and Davidge suck.

Anyone notice the constant?

Davidge is a good guy with Matthews.

Davidge sucks with Rims.

Add in Iron Mike's observations, and we know who SHOULD have been the one to be axed this past offseason...

I counted 4 sentences in a row (2 by Davidge 2 by Rimmer) started with the word Again.

There has got to be a drinking game based on what Bill says. Different values will need to be set for his favorites:

Again
Right now
Absolutely correct
As good as it gets
Let the puck do the work (what the hell does that mean?)
Good shot - better save

Davidge is going to last forever if the front office is looking for someone to not make waves. I want Rims to call the action, but I want a partner who is willing to add insight, not just state the obvious and fluff up effort and tell me what I already know. I mean, come on... at least give us something insightful or fresh.

Not sure how this came about, but I've gotten completely used to Rimer and don't mind him. But maybe it's because Davidge is such a dud.

Making good passes and not turning it over. Making the other team chase the puck or puck carrier. That is my interpretation (right or wrong).

Good to see that I am not alone on this.

Most of what Davidge has to say seems planned out and rehearsed. Its like he is trying to play it safe and not say the wrong thing. Could be that managment is in his head.

And how about we bring back Day and give him Crawfords job?

Day got hosed badly. He was the voice of reason out of all of them. Gare was too, when he spoke up, or spoke coherently.

Too bad Engblom took the Versus job. His year here was just filler, as ESPN told Bettman to go get effd, or was that Bettman trying to play hardball with ESPN, Engblom needed a job, he called it like it was, with no sugar coating.

Let's all go to OSU and get broadcasting degrees! Then we can run the show!

I just broke out in hives reading these.

Add: "you've got to..." and "look..."
