I'm good friends with Cameron so I'd rather him be traded to Toronto Washington

Depends how much you like Gaunce I guess, but it looks like a pretty nice deal... Mueller's better than he's been, that much is sure.

Avs take it and run. Stewart has high potential, if he starts playing more like what we want him to be (tough as nails power forward) and not what he wants to be (skilled top 6 winger). He has some of the skills of a skill-finesse winger, but he will never be a very good nhler based on those alone.

Mueller has not done ANYTHING this season and has a $1.7m cap hit. Rather have Stewart.

Avs fan here.

I'd rather have Mueller. I'll take it. Without even thinking twice.

Which is why its the perfect time to poach him, while his value is at its lowest.

Without thinking twice???? Because you are not able to? Not a good trade for the Avs

Thanks for the constructive criticism. You bowled me over with your counterpoints.

Mueller has a much higher upside than Stewart does. I'm not even going to mention Gaunce in this because I don't think he's anything more than a 5th defensemen (no offense to the guy who said he was friends with him).

At this point I don't see Stewart as more than a 3rd line guy. Mueller has the potential to be a second line player or a first. Do you really think Stewart is going to be with the Avs five years from now? I don't. Do I think Mueller would be? Maybe if he recovered from this slump. Maybe not if he didn't. In five years the trade is either a wash or you stole Mueller for a grinding forward. Change of scenery might do Mueller some good.

Save the in-fighting because there is no way Phoenix goes for this.

Ok! Stewart has lots of potional to be a very good PF in the NHL, with Foote leaving soon we are short on shutdown D-Men and Gaunce fits that role perfectly, he was tabbed by OHL coaches as the “Best Defensive Defenseman” and second-best “Offensive Defenseman" in the OHL. Peter Mueller has 1 goal 3 assists and is a -3 in 22 games and is on pace for 3 goals 10 assists and -12 this season. He had his sophmore slump last season and it has gotten worse this year.

I think I have gotten better at Proposa......... Ok I couldent type that with a straght face, ya I kind of suck at the proposals but im trying.
