I have to admit I'm not that high on Loktionov (not a fan of the size, lack of blazing speed, grit, etc), but if he can dish the puck to his teammates and set up plays, that line has got some true potential.

With all that said..

Finally, we have what looks to be TWO scoring lines. 'bout damn time!

I did too, but I am actually very happy not to have the checking line dragged down by Ivan or Teddy, neither of whom have the slightest bit to contribute to a shutdown unit.

Well, Da Tedster doesn't want to spread himself too thin.

I don't remember it being too heavy in favor of one direction or the other. I know he had the puck on his stick a lot every time he was on the ice and was just a little too slow/small to beat guys wide like he often tried. Whether by face-off or otherwise he always managed to end up controlling the puck.

Well Parse was the key person on the line with Loktionov. After Parse was called up Loktionov chances became far and few between. Loktionov is going to get killed up here if he plays on the 3rd or 4th line but on the 2nd I think he can hold his own. He is defensively responsible but probably better at LW than Center at this point.

Loktionov/Parse/Brown might make a decent line. One thing Loktionov knows is when Parse has the puck behind the net Loki will go to the dead zone between the circles where Parse has a knack of getting the puck to.

Loki, Zeus... gods down the middle. Too bad Kopitar can't be slightly changed to fit a god's name.

I really have nothing relevant to contribute.

Yeah but you can conjugate Kopitar's name like a spanish verb

Kopito
Kopitas
Kopita
Kopitamos
Kopitan

You can't do that with "Loki or Zeus"

The thought of having to watch either Harrold or Ivanans for another 8 minutes is a frightening thought.

Decent lines. This is it for Purcell. If he can't make it work with Kopitar and Williams, then I don't think he has a place on this team anymore. Unfortunately I will be traveling this holiday season so I am not sure I will be able to see the lines perform initially, but I will be recording them all remotely and will watch them afterward. I look forward to detailed reports from you guys

Hey, don't go threatening Teddy, bucko!

TM mentioned he would give Teddy a couple of games to put up some stats so, let's see if he can handle the pressure.

Well, that's it if he can't do anything on that line then I honestly can't see him earning another contract.

I got a big smile on my face when I saw those lines. Don't know how well they will work, but I'm VERY excited to find out.

Question: How did you end up signing with the Kings?

SEGAL: “There were other teams, but I felt L.A. was a great organization and my best bet, and here I am right now so I have no regrets. This has been unbelievable, ever since the day I signed. They have treated me great and I’m really happy to here and show what I can do.”

"My whole life I’ve dreamed about going to Vancouver and playing in the GM Place against the Canucks. It’s perfect timing.”

I'd have to agree. I'm not saying that he doesn't deserve more chance because he does but I think the next couple of games may be it for Da Tedster here in L.A.

Watch Segal be a healthy scratch.

That'll suck big time! Let's see how he likes being with the kings then.

I'm actually surprised they never went with frolov Lokti Purcell.
if there are two players that are similar here they are Lokti and Purcell. Frolov hasn't been ever tried with teddy this year so I thought it was finally gonna happen.
We'll see how these lines work. I just hope that Murray doesn't mess with the first line and leaves it as the first linePP so the trio can gain confidence handling the puck with less pressure.
Great way to get this line going 5 on 5 also...Or any line for that matter

That would be an interesting line combo. My thinking is it's mainly because we have a shortage of LW and also TM may think the line of Purcell/Frolov/Lokti may be a bit soft.

Where are you recording them from? Not from Fox as the next 2 games are not on tv, dammit
