Well he's right that the team never liked him. He never had a real chance on the first two lines.

He also mentioned that in Montreal players always have to prove themselves. I'm thinking how many times guys like Ryder has had one year contracts every year? It plays on your psyche. It's rare to see things like this in other teams. They make their players feel welcome, they feel appreciated. And I'm not surprised the so many players having left on the UFAs market.

Yeah...keep telling yourself that.

The biggest knock on the Habs the last 15+ years has been a lack of size in it's top 6...yet here all this time we had a 6'2 230lbs monster on the roster and 3 coaches never had the wisdom to give him a shot

Please

Hahah yeah, just like Ryder.

Go ask some Bruins fans about that tragic loss, 9pts in 23 games, 4 million cap hit, cost them Kessel and maybe now Savard too.

Lats had so many chances to establish himself on the top 2 lines. What a whiny mother****er. He's really just so self-centered that he doesn't even realize he has to work to get a spot. The final spot in the top 6 was all his but he can't even keep up and kills the momentum on every line he plays on. And instead of working hard to prove himself, he does nothing and expects to be rewarded. ''Oh I had 15 goals on a third line, means I can play on the first!'' No. Not when you don't work and you suck as much as he did.

He whines that he was not appreciated and that he wishes he could have started his career with another team because he could have ''an identity'' and play how he wanted to play. 3 coaches who know better than him told him how he could be successful in the NHL and the guy has the head so far up his ass he thinks he's Gretzky.

And the talk about his contract... ''I would have signed 5 years for less than I'd be worth in 3.'' Meh. You're not going to earn more if you keep on playing like this and just ''expecting to be worth more''.
Not to mention his ''I'm the guy who changed lines the most often in the NHL'' oh, ***** please.

''I never felt appreciated''...maybe because you're so in love with yourself that you want to be showered with compliments you don't deserve?

Wow this guy badmouthing the team really pisses me off.

Well I too am relieved to see Latendresse move to Minnesota.
This puts an end to the neverending referendum on his utilization and NHL abilities or lack thereof.
His exit interview with RDS, where he publically aired some dirty laundry, showed clearly that he is still a boy in a man's frame.
He has had more than his alloted 15 minutes of fame and I don't believe we'll hear much more from him in the future as his skill set and desire are below average by NHL standards.

Just heard that d-bag Réjean Tremblay at CKAC few minutes ago ; I'm speechless. I almost punched my car radio listening to his BS, making apologize of every people who earn lucky or easy money and fame (Latendresse, A.Villeneuve, Lawyers, Doctors, Engineers, etc). by calling everybody who aren't that lucky or who haven't got money to back them going long time in school jealous people only good to vomit on the others. **** I hate that old *******.

Are you dumb or joking? Since the lockout, they've all been pissed, disapointed and bitter.

He was made into a star and now he wants to justify why he wasnt able to deliver; but it wasnt his fault but media for putting so much expectations on his shoulders. He should have packed and left but he knows he has to come back to quebec so he's making his case why it didnt work out.
