I didnt even know about that, good for Lubo, I think a Norris will be in order at the end of the season (seriously if he can pick it up a little bit I dont think its out of the question)

And just like in LA he gets little recognition.

I agree. I'm curious... Coffey, Pronger....Smith? Souray? The suspense...Ulanov?

Tough one after the obvious. Not using Pronger, not here long enough.

1. Paul Coffey.
2. Kevin Lowe, gotta give him the nod as he is the only Oiler to play 1000 games in an Oiler uniform. He was steady as a rock in 5 Stanley Cup Championships.
3. Charlie Huddy, very underrated like Lubo.
Lubo would be fourth on my list though.

I must confess my sins for missing Kevin Lowe. I can't believe I forgot about him.

HA101, I can definitely see your list.. Isn't it interesting that if we polled 50 Oilers fans, we would likely have at least 40 different top three lists? Its like my who's your favourite current Oilers defenceman polls. Interesting none the less.

It is up to debate for sure. I think Paul Coffey would be a slam dunk at one but beyond that I could see a debate for 2 and 3.

For me I could not ignore the 1000 games as an Oiler and the 5 Stanley Cup rings.

3 was pretty close even in my mind so I could see people picking different choices.

I didn't read this thread but,

In Devan Dubnyk being called up,has this lit a fire under JDD to show his best games while DD is in Edmonton? Was it a coincidence JDD had his 1st NHL shutout?
