Hopefully the minibar is still well stocked when it arrives at it's destination. I've have had enough drama for one year. OH and tip the damned driver!

Why all the hype for Desharnais? Is he the point leader in Hamilton or something?

Point per game leader, yes. but he was hurt for a number of games. 4 goals, 6 assists for 10 points in 7 games.

When Gionta is back, I really want to see this line:

Desharnais (5”6) – Cammalleri (5”9) – Gionta (5”7)

More likely cuz there are no Toronto > Pittsburgh flights that would get him there on time, unless he risked connecting flights... He would've had to have been called up and on a plane by 10am today... Even still, some of these routes are pretty insane:

Toronto > Chicago > Pittsburgh
Toronto > Ottawa > Chicago > Pittsburgh
Toronto > Montreal > Chicago > Pittsburgh

The hype comes from his stats and from the fact that it didn't too long for Guy Boucher to notice that Desharnais was his best player (see the video on Boucher behind the bench)

anybody here knows of a team at one point in their life that had this many injured, and were not talking about 4th line players,

so anyone knwos with a team in a year that got MORE of their BEST players hurt than the habs?

pleckanec cammy and hamrlik are the ones that need to get hurt and we have the bulldogs....

I hope at least that the young guys will see it as once in a lifetime opportunity cause this kind of sihet doesnt happen very often

We're going to have 29 M on the sidelines tonight if he's out. LMAO.

So we trade everyone whos injured so we have 29 M in cap space and next year our first line is

Kovalchuk - Lecavalier - Hossa

why the hype?

the guy was under alot of radar screeens.

60+ games a year never played any more than that in jr....100 to 118 pts a yr...

ho hum

then he heads off to no mans land the echl and again blows the doors off the leauge ....
leauge mvp
scoring leader over 100 pts again

picks up 30 plus point in the playoff and his teams win the cup (due to him) .

then off to Hamilton first year pro...58 pts in 77 games...

this year 7 games 10 pts..

he in every leauge has hit the score sheeeeett....avg over 1 point per game......

dont expect that in the nhl but he has all the tools to be effective in the nhl .

even in the pre season with us he picked up points both years.

so im glad after all his slugging away being told he was to small he now gets to rip it up and show that he isnt .He is another Gionta type he doesnt play small

he plays power play , kills penealty, soild two ways player...

If I'm not wrong, it seems that he was named MVP in ECHL in 2008 with the production of 106 pts in 68 games. I'm not sure how competitive ECHL league is. I guess that it's not as good as AHL, but better than Junior leagues.

Is that before the "What a horrible acquisition that was and we should trade them now" threads start coming?
