boys look really lazy so far...not being proactive is the down fall of this team. they need to start challenging the oilers and driving to the net

The Kings really have lost it. I wonder if Smyth would make any difference right now even if he was healthy.

Bleh. Another bad start IMO. Well actually not a bad start but just a start where we cannot bury our chances in front of the net.. Can't believe that one (Ryan Smyth) person can make that much of a difference when it comes to being in front of the net and scoring. Has anyone else see that they no longer have no intensity at all!! Still two periods left. Let's hope for something!

uhmmm...........

i just stop wtiting an a GDT as long as the Staff isn't replaced.
Serious.... the games getting worse and worse.

Lombardi has to realize that the team took the next step and are handled like in the beginning.
The team needs a coach who is asking for something, who is pointing out something a coach with ideas and a fresh gamestyle.

It's not enough these days to play just simple plain hockey.
And Murray is not the coach who bring in fresh air or creative ideas.
He is the opposite... he takes any creativity away.

If that goes on, we lose a lot of players who just wanna play hockey.

Hopefully we lose the next games with more than 7 goals so Lombardi doesn't have another chance than firing Murray, Kompon and Hardy.

And please Mr. Kompon..... just sit there and do nothing, let the players do what ever they want on the PP it absolutely can't be worse than your PP style

The way Kings have played lately they have no business in the play-offs. They really have to get back on track this is painfull to watch.

Intensity has definitely tailed off. But that and the scoring drought go beyond Smyth...this team started its slide several games before he went down.

Brown has a Hockey IQ of a freakin 10 yr old! He looks horrendous out there. He lost all of his intensity and lost everything and doesn't have anything that he had 2 years ago. I hate how people just overrate him. People overrate him while others think he is underrated. He IMO does not deserve that letter because he doesn't lead by example at all. He may be good as a leader everywhere else but on the ice he is a no one. Hopefully he could turns things around as he has what it takes to do so.

Lots of time left

I want to see more of this 2nd line. Loktionov looks like he can keep up no problem.

Indeed it has.
I just don't get it? They had all intensity and had everything going then all of a sudden they shut down. Even Smyth did.(Though again I think he could still have a great impact on the team).

As soon as Brown gets the puck, the play dies. Dude needs to hit people and create some space.

wow.... it wasnt nearly as bad as some of you are making it seem. We are losing 1-0 do to a deflection that doesnt work 19 out of 20 times. I agree the team has lost the intensity it had a few weeks ago but I have absolute confidence that we will win this game.

So far so good with Loktionov, hope he gets a litte more ice time in the next two periods.
