I saw a bit of the 2nd but we went to the supermarket to finish shopping and I missed the 3rd. I didn't know that they won until I got the text from the team. Good job now stop sucking an pick it up for the next game.

so whats going on with the box scores at ESPN,yahoo,TSN.ca ect with the NHL scores lately. you go to the NHL page and there isnt even a score summary and box score on some of them games. It was like that on the Flyers game tonite at ESPN.
Noticed at TSN briefly as well.
Glad the Flyers won. 28 shots allowed in the first 40 minutes and 1 in the final period.
Wonder what was said in the 2nd intermission.
Last 2 games the Flyers have outshot Colorado and the Isles by a combined 31-5 in the 3rd period.

****! I missed the game because I either forgot to set the alarm or slept right through it. At least they won, w00t.

Just saw the highlights on NHL.com and it's kind of weird to say but Boucher has been by far the better goalie on this roadtrip. Hope Emery rebounds this weekend.

I can say though, they really needed this. By far and away the biggest thing they've needed so far this season was a win while the team as a whole is struggling with certain people out of the line up.

Need to go back and watch the first & second periods, since I missed 'em earlier. Good to see a strong performance from Boucher (even though I missed that part, so far) and I'm glad Marty didn't stand on his head.
It was kind of a weird game for Marty. He made all the saves he possibly could have, but you're right, I wouldn't call that standing on his head (they were for the most part routine). His d-man deflected it in off the cross bar on him for one goal, and the other he was screened so badly he couldn't see the pass to the shooter, let alone the release of the shot itself. By the time he knew the puck left Giroux's stick it was already halfway from Richards to the net. If you don't watch the first two periods on everyone else's advice (probably good advice, ha), at least watched the last minute of the second. Giroux's pass was timed and placed perfectly.

I'm glad Boucher has shown he can be a good backup.

he just needs consistency and he'll be solid. we've seen glimpses of his former glory, hopefully he can keep it up.

It's tough to maintain consistency with the light workload he's had. However, the schedule is pretty packed once again after a short break early next week, so he'll be back in the crease soon (if they don't split Fri/Sat).

Nice to see Boucher steal a game. Bottom line, he doesn't play well we lose!

I missed the game and the one before as well. What did everyone think of Noodsy? Any maturity in his game?

A big improvement over last year. He looks bigger/stronger and has played well.

Finally got around to watch the game. Rather mediocre, but I loved the incident when Giroux was talking trash with Tavares and smiling from ear to ear

2 points are always welcome though.
