no he just didn't notice that he took a shot off the foot. He doesn't realize how unbelievably unlucky this team is, that after getting slashed in the wrist and going off for 5 minutes, he gets even more severely hurt the first shift back.

I saw with my own two eyes Andrei limping and hopping on one foot, in considerable pain, towards the dressing room.

I didn't read the whole thread to see if anyone corrected you or not, but it was #50 Antoine Vermette who slashed Andrei on that play not Nash.

Yeah and I bet the Canadiens told him to limp to the dressing room afterwards and use crutches the next day to "keep the lie alive".

I like McGuire but sometimes he says the dumbest things for no discernable reason...

Andrei has something like 3 blocked shots yesterday. His injury was caused by a blocked shot aswell.

I think it deserved some mentions.

And then Hall will have a career-ending injury.

Is anyone expecting anything less at this point??? weird part is it didn't even seem like a hard shot, it was a wrist shot from Tyutin...guess it caught him in the wrong spot

Well like they said the way the skates are made now are you're much faster but more vulnerable also. And between you and me, a wrist shot from an NHL player is still a strong shot on anybody's foot

Curses!

Andrei Kostitsyn injures himself right as he becomes a Daniel Alfredsson clone

But seriously Andrei's on ice play in the last few games has been phenomenal, close to what we'd expect from a star player. Get well soon Andrei
