In the interview he gave to TSN he really didn't seem too happy to be here. He said he was but you could tell he wasn't.

Are we supposed to feel bad for him or something? He wasn't happy to be here because coaches expected him to work to earn a Top 6 role, and he never did, and always thought his spot was guaranteed.
We should be the ones who are unhappy, his sore loser mentality is getting annoying too.

A 23-year old being told that he isn't good enough for his team of 3 (+2) years is kind of upset and Pascal, the world's only tele-psychoanalyst, is reporting it for us.
Listen dude, if you say that you 'THINK' Pouilot isn't happy, that's one thing but don't pull crap outta your ass and pass it off as fact.

People are still dissecting this trade?
Pouliot doesn't seem happy enough to come here?
Will it ever stop?

I was out of Hab world for 3 days due to a huge exam (between the columbus and pitt games) and I come back to see this.
HUGE. As much as I have appreciated Lats' potential and sometimes play, I think this deal will be awesome for us.
Obviously as it's already been stated:
Benoit will make Benoit cry

I thought of Steve Heinz, first. I thought the NHL retired it league wide?

it took both gomez and cammalleri some time before they answered to the media, like they are happy to be here, with some time i understood or believe the shock will always gonna make you react this way, specially when you are trading and you dont know the new team, i think we will have to see how Powlie answers on the ice before anything else.

Old HF running gag where post 15 in every thread was supposed to be a comment bashing Latendresse (mostly his weight and eating habits)

I was looking through Pouliot's stats in the AHL. In 2006-07 (his rookie year), he had 36 pts while Foy was the leading scorer with 50. In 2007-08, the leading scorer of his team had 41 pts (record? ) and he had less obviously. Last year, the aeros had a good team and he did decent with 24 pts in 30 games. I think, the system in Minnesota is defensive. No matter how good you are , you are gonna be affected if you play with poor players or in a defensive system. Even Havlat is struggling in Minnesota right now, it makes me wonder if Minnesota was really a good place for Pouliot? Anyone?

What I'm wondering is who called first, Gainey or Fletcher, who offered who first?
Fletcher didn't draft Pouliot, but Gainey knew full well where Lats was in his progression...
