Luongo and being horrible at faceoffs killed us tonight. Quick played a great game despite the score.

gross.

soft... no heart.

where's the power-passion-pride as advertised all over los angeles?

game could have easily been 7 -1 had quick not played good tonight.

That was a disgrace of a game. I had a light-hearted argument with a Ducks' fan during Thanksgiving lunch earlier today asking why I didn't follow a "real" team... I'm inclined to wonder the same question right now.

This is where I dare say that Rich Hammond is a pu*** and won't ask these types of questions. I know, I know, everyone loves him and I appreciate what he does but there isn't a rational thinking person out there who does not wonder why Ivanans gets so much ****ing ice time down by 2 goals and I would hope that a simple question like "Coach, in the 3rd, down by 2 goals, Raitis is getting shifts and X numbers of minutes, are you looking for offense from him and his line?" would be asked. I just want to know the damn answer. He can justify benching Frolov an entire period so obviously rolling 4 lines cannot be the justification.

And then you remember that the Ducks are 9-11-3.

They're Canadian. What do you expect? Seriously though, he had a good game. He just can't finish to save his life. Tony nailed it. It is Guilano with a C.

I stop to commend games in the regular form as long as we have this coaching staff..........

We were just outplayed and outcoached.......
Our game is so simple you can say 5 minutes before the pass was played where it will ends.....
AS more pressure Murray gets as more simple he coaches the game......
Compton and Hardy would have problems to keep their job on a peewee team.....

And then there is the biiiiiiiiig, biiiiiiiig, biiiiiig non creative play.
Really........ you have a huge cluster of player where the puck is.
It looks like a team of Kids.
Yeah.... and the goals we score are just lucky deflections or bounces.....
we don't force a goal we just let some happen. That is a big difference.

But like i said... i start will start to care again when the staff is gone....

Hopefully one that involves decent special teams and no dump and chase.

Quick made some great saves tonight.
I thought Schenn didn't look out of place. He made some stuff happen and was strong on the puck.
Simmonds is screwing up my FGOTG standings.
Purcell was looking pretty good and almost got a nice goal.
Luongo was great.

Secondary scoring is going to have to kick in. Kopitar is going to go through quiet times especially as more teams work to shut him down, so other players are going to have to start getting it done.

I thought our energy level was ok considering we played a back-to-back, but still there was a lot of sloppy passes, turnovers etc.

Quick was fantastic tonight, so was Brown and Simmonds., yes I thought Brown played good.

Schenn did alright for his first game, defensively responsible etc. He did make some nice passes to Williams in the 3rd period. He just turned 18 before training camp and there is tons of time to get better. This was a tough game to look dazzling anyway.

Luongo had a terrific game.

Zad,

I have commented on this numerous times, TM would be run out of town Charlie Weis style if he pulled this BS in a real hockey market with a media that cared.

But there is one guy asking the questions and he is a team employee, the rest of the sports media is too busy covering what Kobe Bryant had for breakfast or what fat chick Lamar Odom is with this week.

Some of your acts get old. Yeah, we all know you want Jack Johnson to get 50 minutes of ice time and that the Kings should just stop playing defense.
