Oh yeah section 307, ill be wearing the 3rd blue liberty jersey and sitting between two bolts fans. I'll be the one with th shaved head. And if you guys want some good pre-game food there is some little restaurant (not Big Tuna) on the corner near one of the parking lots that has outdoor tvs and good indoor dining - the crab cake sandwich is really good and they have 2 for 1 beer specials

(plus after the game you get a free beer with ticket stub)

I always do that when I'm there for a Rangers game. I don't give a s*** of what the Lightning fans think... **** 'em. Most of the time it works. Make sure you go along with it when one starts it. haha It helps a lot.

Is the GDT D man pairing right?

Sangs w/ Gilroy?

Gilroy gets caught up ice to much ...cant put a kid in his first NHL game out there with him.

I like Gilroy but he needs a stay at home d partner.

Cant wait to see Vinnie's Tampa tan tonight!

Nope. I just put him there for now... Waiting for updates from the skate.

I'm pretty sure Torts will change up the D-pairs.

Lundqvist in goal, Kotalik will play... http://blogs.northjersey.com/blogs/rangerrants/

Quote:
Those were two of my questions prior to today’s morning skate: Whether Henrik Lundqvist was going to play tonight given the Rangers are in Pittsburgh tomorrow night for the start of a home-and-home series with the Penguins. If there was a game to give Steve Valiquette in this stretch of six in 10, tonight was the logical one. But Lundqvist (11-8-1, 2.55 GAA) will start his seventh straight. Mike Smith (3-4-4, 3.37 GAA) will get the start for the Lightning after Antero Niitymaki (6-2-3, 2.19 GAA) started the last two for Tampa Bay, an overtime win at Atlanta and Wednesday’s 4-3 loss to the Maple Leafs in which he made 31 saves. Personally, this works for me. Smith is easier to spell. That double i gets me every time.

Back to the Rangers, right wing Ales Kotalik will return to the lineup after missing Wednesday’s 2-1 shootout win at Florida because of sore ribs/left shoulder/upper torso. Kotalik said he’s not sure which line he’ll play on but he skated with the fourth line this morning so the guess here is that Aaron Voros will be a healthy scratch. Otherwise, the lines looked the same from Wednesday:

Christopher Higgins-Vinny Prospal-Marian Gaborik
Sean Avery-Artem Anisimov-P.A. Parenteau
Enver Lisin-Chris Drury-Ryan Callahan
Donald Brashear-Brian Boyle-Ales Kotalik/Aaron Voros

Defensively, the pairings are the same, with Bobby Sanguinetti subbing in for Wade Redden and Matt Gilroy moving to the left side. Gilroy said he played there a bit in college, not much, and also was used on the left side for a few shifts Wednesday after Wade Redden (right shoulder/arm) was injured early in the first period.

Kotalik getting limited minutes on the 4th line while recovering but able to contribute on the PP. I like it.

I dont think the Gilroy-Sanguinetti pairing will get more than 10 minutes of ES time tonight.

Brashear sucks. And he scores goals occasionally. Not sure what the point is.

If you don't put up points, you'd best put forth energy and defense. Callahan gets that. Lisin doesn't.

I laugh every time I see Voros on Gaborik's line in that video. But seriously, it's so refreshing to have a player on our team who is capable of that.

I'm feeling a 3-2 win with goals from Gaborik, Del Zotto and Anisimov. LGR!

Can u name a defensive mishap from Lisin within the last five games? Cuz I can't. Lisin has 16 takeaways compared to Callahan's 11. Considering the fact Lisin came to North America without any lick of defensive ability, the kid is really showing us something in terms of improvement.
