Tonight's Lines - Interesting

Schastlivy - Spezza - Hossa
Vermette - Corso - McGrattan
Watson - Van Allen - Hull
Schaefer - Laich - Hamel

The first line is what many posters here have been waiting for - Spezza the playmaker with two of our best "shoot first and ask questions later" guys. Bets on the over under goals combined for that line are currently running at 2. Not sure how many they'll score, but my bet is Hossa and Schastlivy combine for at least 10 shots on net. Now taking bets...

The second line is a potential AHL first line. Third is a plugger line, while the fourth will be interesting to see how Laich might be able to feed off Schaefer.

Prusek and Thompson will split the goaltending.

I have heard that Vermette and Hossa have been dynamite together, so what I would really want to see is the VHS line (vermette hossa spezza).

As we debated a month or so ago, I think Spezza and Hossa are a great fit as Hossa is extremely responsible defensively. I'm hoping that Hossa and Spezza remain linemates beyond tonight's exhibition game.

Ah, I was wrong. The "two goals for the line" was bang on (Hossa and Spezza), but Hossa and Schastlivy only finished with 9 shots combined. Spezza had 2.

Geez, good thing we're not paying you, since that type of inaccuracy is just simply unacceptable!

I like the idea of Hull (most probably) being around in Bingo this year both as a player and ass. coach. Hopefully guys like Watson and Laich can benefit from that a lot and develop into responsible players, starting tonight.

I would like to see Hamel having a good game tonight as well.

Some people make it SO HARD for the rest of us to behave like mature adults!
