Crosby shouldn't be Captain, not enough experience...perhaps Doan or S.Niedermayer or Iginla or...wait where's Lecavalier?

I wouldn't have Toews or Green in my line-up, and I would play Brodeur instead of Luongo but that's just my opinion, you can hope for any combination

The main idea is good though, i like having Thornton with Heatley and Stamkos, and Doughty as an extra

Nash - Crosby -St.louis
Marleau - Thoronton - Heatley
Perry - Getzlaf - Iginla

Morrow - Mike Fisher - Shane Doan (shut down line)

St.louis will give more energy to the top line,IMO Iginla is better suited with Getzlaf and Perry. Marleau,Thornton,Heatley are arguably the best line in the NHL right now and would greatly inhance team Canada's chemistry.

C- NIEDERMAYER PRONGER-A
BOUMEESTER GREEN (or Dan Boyle)
KEITH SEABROOK
DOUGHTY

I would go with Brodeur without question.

It's hard to keep Marleau off of team Canada given the chemistry that he has with Thornton and Heatley.

I really want to see Crosby as the captain because he thrives under pressure to a degree that I just don't think he'd let us lose... Buuuuut it's not going to happen. I'm thinking Neidermayer will be Captain, which would also be a great pick.

Do we have to take Doan? I mean, he's way down on my list of players that I'd take. I don't like the idea of Canada bringing checkers to make a shutdown line. Any combination of super talented forwards will make a better checking or "shut down" line 10 times out of 10.

My Forwards:
Nash - Crosby - Iginla
Heatley - Thornton - Marleau
Stamkos/St. Louis - Getzlaf - Perry
B. Richards - M. Richards - J. Carter

Jeff Carter doesn't deserve to be on this team right now. Richards physical play combined with his offensive ability keeps him in the discussion.

I'd want to see this team:

Rick Nash - Sidney Crosby - Jarome Iginla(A)
Dany Heatley - Joe Thornton - Patrick Marleau
Dustin Penner - Ryan Getzlaf - Corey Perry
Brendan Morrow(A) - Mike Richards - Shane Doan
Martin St.Louis

Chris Pronger - Scott Niedermayer(C)
Dan Boyle - Duncan Keith
Jay Bouwmeester - Drew Doughty
Shea Weber

Martin Brodeur
Marc Andre Fleury
Roberto Luongo

My team canada, mainly based on performance this year, and in some cases people i know will perform.

Heatley - Thorton - Marleau
Nash - Crosby - Iginla
Penner - Getzlaf - Perry
Smyth - Fisher - Stamkos

underlined position i would not mind doan or st.louis there as well.

Pronger - Niedermayer
Weber - Boyle
Green - Bouwmeester
Doughty OR Keith

Brodeur, Luongo, Fleury

i really believe that the one player who shoul dmake it that probably wont, and he is in my team is dustion penner, amazing year so far this kids amazing in his own zone and protects the puck very nicely.

Well with the official roster it'll be something like

Nash-Crosby-Iggy
Marleau-Thorton-Heatley
E Staal-Getslaf-Perry
Morrow-Toews-Richards
Bergeron

Every line is incredibly scary.
Every line will be feared. Their 4th line isn't as offensive but they're great shutdown and one of the best for faceoffs.

Niedermayer-Pronger
Keith-SeaBrook
Boyle-Weber
Doughtry

Every pairing has a big hard hitting guy and a smart positional guy. Every one of these guys are great offensively.

Brodeur
Luongo
Fluery

Please hand us your gold now.

Way too much chemistry and this team definitely isn't too old.

Kind of a silly thing, I guess, but I really want to get a Toews Oly jersey, but no clue what number he'll wear, since Big Joe will likely want 19. Anyone with any thoughts on that??
