Gleason a King-in-waiting for Monarchs AHL article

"It's L.A., the weather is warm - how can you beat that?" Gleason said jokingly. "Also, they've really given me the chance to play and prove myself. I'm really happy to be part of this organization."

im really high on gleason. i really beleive he has top 2 potential in him. at worst, i see him being a top 4 defenseman, very solid.

thinking about him and grebeshkov, i have to say gleason is the safer pick with grebs being the higher potential. both are good though, can't wait for both to be playing with us.

hes a tough kid. hes been hit in the face with pucks and sticks in the face quite a bit this year and never seems to miss more time then its needed to stitch him up. I am sure glad the Monarchs have him. and who did we trade him for again :lol

Hey, I liked Smoke.

But I'm glad Gleason is a King. He's definitely been a pleasant surprise. He was one of the bright spots of last season (if there was a bright spot, lol)... I still have that image in my head of his hit on Vinny Lecavalier during the Kings/Lightning game last year where it went to OT and Ziggy scored the GWG.

Thanks for the article, KB.

I remember when he literally carried some guy while he threw a body check. He also had that knee-on-knee hit against him and Holland, of all people, stood up for him.
