I don't think we're going to lose, so we'll lose. It always works that way. I have a feeling the Cats will knock 4 past us and we'll manage only 1. But no worries, we'll resume the streak in December.

4-1 Cats

Got the DVR set, will watch the game tomorrow so I won't be posting during/after the game until I get to see it. I hate being spoiled by knowing the score prior to the game.

Is Belak playing tonight?

Btw, unless I missed something, Repik has been down for about a week and MacIntyre has been playing since we waived Koistinen and sent him to Rochester.

Also, our pairings on defense lately have been

Ballard-Leopold
McCabe-Allen
Seidenberg-Kulikov

Should be a good game, I hope. Preds have been really hot of late.

I really hate the Florida announcers. "Hey Jerry, it's uncle Leo"... just stop.

Florida announcers are REALLY terrible. On Legwand's goal, he put his hand on the Panther Dman - but "he pulled his jersey, holding but no penalty called and he gets a goal on the play."

I was at the game tonight. Legwand's goal was exactly what we have been clamoring for from him all this time. He used his speed to catch up to the puck and d-man, his strength to muscle into position, and then flipped the shot. That seemed to crush the spirit out of the Panthers-- from that point I did not feel they could crawl back into the game.

On the new thirds, I like them. You REALLY have to look closely even in person to see the checkerboard effect, I saw several before I could even detect it and I knew what I was looking for. I might collect one once the replicas are out, I just do not wear them enough to want to shell out $114 for one.

Something must have happened to Cody Franson, he took to the body every chance he could tonight and it worked. Every defenseman played fairly physical and I loved it, I just wish the forwards would not be scared to hit.

Also Floridas McKendle? is not very bright, at least Toots may have knocked some sense into him. That was a vicious beating in the 2nd fight.

Watched a feed with the Florida announcers, ouch, glad don't have to listen to them more often.

The new thirds look great, really like the color combination and styling.

Great game, Ellis looked solid as well.

I didn't see much that could be classified as an "ass kicking." I didn't really even see much of a fight in either instance, to be honest.
