Anyone else find it difficult listening to Mr. Obvious's interjections in between Heeter's calls???
It might be just me, but I'd like a little more "color" from the color analyst...something candid, something about the play, the little nuances that makes a good play a good play.
There are worse radio guys. I listened to the Ducks guys a few times over the last 2 seasons and they reek.
I'd be more than happy to try to post more its just no one really does so it's like I'm talking to myself....MORE PEOPLE POST! GET THESE UP TO 9+ pages
Its more about quality than quantity. The volume will go on a game by game basis.
Amazimg were still above .500 with injury problems and some players slacking in the process.
Every month passing is going to get harder and December is going to be hell.
2 games vs San Jose
Calgary
Ottawa
LA
Vancouver
Anaheim
Just to name a few!
We need too do better than 6-7-1 in order to stay in the playoff race.
If we can win 90% of our games and beat SJ in both meetings then will be a serious contender for the winning the division. Posted via Mobile Device
Na it's clearly more than that. A lot of our GDT that run way long go into 'post game' areas which are very general coyotes talk. Take a look down the board and you'll see many short GDT's.
What happened to our GDT, we used to get these bad boys to about 8 pages easily....
No Mueller to debate over for 3 extra pages....speaking of which....How about that hit Lombo took in the corner against the Stars to set up Korpikoski's 2nd goal. That's the type of hit Mueller has to be willing to take...but he won't.
When I can watch it on TV - I usually tape it and watch it much later.....Much quicker - skipping commercials, the breaks and most of the in between period time.
I do the same. I almost never post or even read these board during game time. I don't really understand why people want page after page of GDT anyway. How many posts do we need about who scored each goal?

What's the Coyotes record without Mueller?
Yet you're going to try anyway? Jesus leave it alone for one day please!

Me three. I almost can't watch the feed live, anymore. All of those commercials make me fall asleep.
I'll fourth that sentiment. I've been doing this for about the past 2-3 seasons now that I've had a DVR. Sometimes I won't watch the game for a couple of days if I get busy, but it's nice being able to breeze through a game in 60 minutes flat...especially with that handy fwd 30 seconds button that skips the whistles.
It is nice to have the GDT when the game wasn't on TV though. Then I definitely read through them. I think they serve as a post-mortem after the game is over and we all either need to gloat or ***** over what happened during the game.
This is a message board, not a chatroom. The GDTs that go for 500 posts usually feature page after page of "WOOOO!!!!" and "NOOOO!!!!" It's correlative to the size of a team's fanbase on HF but in no way indicative of any sort of productive discourse.
With this win, the Yotes now have 15 wins. That's only 3 less wins than the top 2 teams - San Jose and Pittsburgh.
Heck, we're only 1 win less than Chicago and Calgary (2nd and 3rd in the Western Conference).

I use the DVR too. But I start watching about an hour after the game starts. That way I can fast forward through the commercials and I finish about the same time as the live game.
I hate to watch it any later than that because I don't want to know what happens before I see it. I just have to avoid hf and my text messages until the end.

Maybe it's just me, but Nash has a similar twang/cadence to his speech as Dennis Miller [minus the humor of course].
