New York Rangers All Decade Team - Second Line Right Wing
We are quickly approaching the end of the first decade of the 21st Century. It is time for us the fans to pick who we would want as our All-Decade Team. In the next few weeks 22 polls will be posted to fill the team. 13 Forwards, 7 defense man and 2 goalies will be chosen.

I really don't see how it can be Gaborik over Fleury. Fleury put in three quality seasons with us despite playing on crappy teams and showed passion and fire through an otherwise dull and depressing time.
This is a tough choice. Obviously Bure and Gbaorik are two of the best players to play for the Rangers in their prime in recent history, but Fleury was a pretty good memer of our team for much longer in this decade. I think those three should comprise the next 3 slots on the team, regardless.

Lindros beat Nedved by two votes, 36-34, but at least two people posted that they accidentally voted for Eric instead of Petr.

gaborik will definitely have a better career in blue than the rest of these guys...but since the poll is for THIS decade i had to go with nedved. the sad part is gaborik will make this team with only playing around 30 games for the rangers

I love Theo. The guy has issues, but he's a ****ing player. I hated his guts before he got here, too, but he's the man. Don't see how a guy who has played 30 games in a Ranger uni gets this over Fleury. Fleury was leading the league in points, too, at one point. Granted, the next week he was in rehab, but still.
oy..no wonder this decade did very little for me...look at the choices for right wing. I'd be inclined to go with Kovalev simply because I like the kid, but as a small footnote, he did play a lot of left wing as a Ranger under Sather, which of course made little sense and he failed at that position, alongside Lindros, as his style of play suited him as a right winger. This decade seems to me like the 80s were for music for me.
