My brother drove up there yesterday from Halifax for the game tonight, with a bunch of Leafs fans. I imagine he is hating life right now. I suspect he may end up in a jail cell by the end of the night.

So wait, which goalie got the shutout? I'd hate to be the team that give Gustafsson his first career shutout.

Your brother will be in jail and there will be a funeral for the group of Leafs fans he traveled with.

Hope the Habs and Gustavsson are both ok. Don't know which is worse an irregular heartbeat or none at all

Blind passes and shooting at goalies. But at least he's working hard out there...

ON the bright side, this pathetic excuse for an effort will prompt a major move.

neither get a shutout. The team gets credit for one, but no player gets credit for it.

The fact it was vs the Leafs makes it look worst, but the Leafs played a great hockey game, and let's admit it, their role players and their d-men outplayed us big time.

- Gomez played great.
- Cammalleri had a couple of chances, I'd just like someone to help him besides Gomez and Plekanec.
- Plekanec was great in the last 2 periods.
- Price had his moments of weakness.
- Hamrlik was good
- Spacek was not really
- We need Gionta/AK46 back
- We need to play with AUTHORITY!

The 3 goals against us are a result of lack of authority in our decision-making. It's unforgivable for the guys to lack confidence/assurance at this point of the season...

I hope this game is not a sign of things to come for the Habs this month..I have a feeling it just might be though unfortunately..

The Leaf players always get pumped and seem to consider these Habs game a rivalry while the Habs players play like it is just another game in along schedule..It as been like that for years now..

Oh well on to the next 2 really tough games coming up....

We shouldn't have put Jay Leach on waivers.

Yeah for sure, it's just frustrating to see that this could be is maximum because he is our franchise player for 5 years to come.

did we lose when the impact came to the bell centre?

it seems we always lose when there is a ceremony or wtvr before the game

Does anyone know the Habs record since the beginning of this centennial bs? Something like 17-42-4? Pathetic...

Jacques Martin's booring hockey results in being shut-out by The Laffs at home. SIGH! Why Bob, why?

As someone else already said, if the goalie is not superb, we get a pwned.

Leafs played great, especially defensively; our defense sucked tonight (3 breakaways). The Leafs played tough and basic hockey; the Habs tried to play fancy hockey. The Habs weren't ready to go to war tonight. That was the mistake. Against the Leafs, you need to be prepared to play plainful and ugly hockey.
