Maybe the entire fanbase just needs to get tickets and fly to the next Jackets-Avs game in Denver. We can boo the hell out of him in his own building.

Stralman picked up 3 minors they said and his last led to the CHI PP goal. That's why he was riding the pine.

We've done that before. He whined to the Dispatch.

Ah but this time it'd be that much more satisfying since he's been avoiding us (seriously he's like that person in a relationship who wants it to end but doesn't want to be the one who does it so he just avoids you. It's so Junior High). And if he whined we can label him a "diva." Or egg his house or something.

Figured we were going to get blown out. This was a game that shows when ties are an OK ending in Hockey.

I am proud of my team.

GO JACKETS!

One nice thing to see is this, Rick Nash has been a +5 in the last two games bring his +/- to a -6 keep it up Captain, you may not be getting the points that you were in the beginning but I think you're setting an example of why the forwards need to help out the d-men.

Boy how nice of a game that was to not have to listen to Davidge or Rimmer, how refreshing it was

I have to admit that it was refreshing to get a night off from Homervision.

Thoroughly enjoyed the VS announcers with the exception of the diving comment and the abundance of chicago chit chat. amazing someone would call for a diving penalty when a real penalty occurred...if it was a phantom hook, sure, but it was a textbook hook. We just sold it...something players learn to do way early on...did they get on Byfugien too?

That shootout was fun...until we lost.

Still, I'll take it. 1 point is better than none & I'll take them any way we get them.

I had a nagging fear that we'd get beat up, but that was one of the better efforts we've seen in the last couple weeks. It's the first time in a while where it's a loss that I'm OK with (a "good loss" as Psy called it in the chat). I'll take a point from Chicago in their own building.

We can't freakin' lose to Toronto.

Tough break, getting sick of these shootout losses.

Did the shooters show up Mase after the Calgary shootout? You know, when he was a sieve and they actually potted a couple?

I'm glad he was pissed and showed it. At least someone is showing some real emotion and not the standard PR BS we see each and every night after losses. It's refreshing. You stop 8 straight (or whatever it was), you have every right to be ticked that not one of your shooters can even sniff the net.

I don't think he was pissed at his teammates. I took it more as just general frustration at losing again, regardless of why. Especially in the shootout, that can't feel good. To be honest, it was nice to see emotion for once.

I'm pretty sure he was pissed at his teammates as well, since they couldn't pot more than 1 goal in 11 tries.

Screaming Wild has posted over the past few weeks that someone needs to get angry and lead this team. I agree.

I hope Mason has decided to be that someone.

He was pissed at himself and his teammates. He was just pissed. I am happy to see it. Mason needs to show a little crazy goalie action, not a lot but just a little bit. I am hoping that we find out that playing against a pissed of Steve Mason is bad news for the other team.

In other news, the Jackets seem to be getting some scoring going. Combine that with some confidence and drive from the last two games, and the rest of the week could be looking up.

There is such thing as embellishing. If you get the stick on them, its a hook, but once you clamp your arm down, now youre embellishing it, which justifies the original call and the added call.

Then what should the benches reaction be when he gives up 3 goals on 4 shots in the SO, should they be pissed he's letting them in? Dont think I like it either if it was calling out the team, you can think it, but not good to display it

Getting angry seems to work for Tim Thomas. Just sayin.
