Yay? They said on the team this morning that they expected Horcoff and Gagner to both be at practice. Looks like Horc is hurting more than they are letting out. Probably kept too much cash in his wallet and pulled his shoulder pulling it out to pay for some McNuggets.

Sorry, I'm in a really sarcastic/crummy mood today. there was supposed to be one of these by the yay. Lets just all assume that I have one on every post I make today huh? well not after that sentence... but maybe?

Or they want to see if Roli can continue to get into the Leaf's heads.

Re the poll - I said other - I made sure I went into this season with low expectations so I don't feel the need to panic.

Sam Gagner had a medical followup so he, too, was a practice scratch.

Gagner recently had to have a lump checked on his neck. The initial report he received was it didn't appear to be malignant.
Sheesh. I hope that's nothing.

It'll be streamed online on the Oilers site. With Sportsnet dropping to 40 from 48 there was an extra 8 that needed to be picked up somehow.

Some went to PPV, some to other networks, CityTV took one, and then I believe there is 2 that will be streamed online because that was their only option.

I read this on a game preview I think, the night of a PPV. I copy/pasted it into a GDT so I'm sure I could find it and get the proper numbers.

EDIT: Found it!

It’s also important to note that that Oilers PPV was created as a vehicle to broadcast Oiler games which would not otherwise be broadcast and we remain true to that initiative.

This year Rogers Sportsnet West chose to reduce the number of Oilers games they broadcast from 48 to 40. The Oilers PPV schedule is determined after CBC, TSN and Sportsnet select their Oilers games.

The Oilers endeavor to get the remaining games on PPV, although that isn’t always possible – this year two Oilers games will not be available on television, although the Oilers plan to deliver them via their website at no charge.

No worries. I knew most of the numbers. But when all that was announced I thought that the extra games available (due to sportsnets drop) were all picked up via PPV and the one CityTV game. Then I thought there would be a couple that wern't televised at all. But I guess that they decided to stream them, like I said never heard of that until now.

In difficult times like this I fall back on 1 book for inspiration. Just looking at the title calm me down because it tells me "Don't Panic" and has all the answers i am looking for (except the question to the answer 42).
