They recent jersey change to get back to their roots was a step in the right direction IMHO.
I did like the AI era jerseys though.

You at an NBA game might be the funniest thing ever.

Hell, if you find cheap seats (they should all be cheap, hahahah) I might even go too

Wow man, the all-time sixers team would be damn nasty, haha.

EDIT:

Guys like Wilt Chamberlain, Moses Malone, Maurice Cheeks, Allen Iverson, Julius Irving, Charles Barkley, Hall Greer, Dolph Schayes, Bill Cunningham

Wow, I never realized the Sixers have quite the history. In the NBA's top 10 teams, the Sixers are represented twice, '66-67 and '82-83.
Don't forget Bobby Jones...

Kind of in the sense his departure was rough....but I like Iverson more than Lindros.

All tickets in the game are sold out besides upper middle mezz from the looks of it. Wow...

Iverson appears to be a fantastic signing already.

worst. move. ever.

sucked in Denver, took Detroit from contender to pretender, couldn't hang with the frikken Grizzlies for more than a week or two. If he played for free they still wouldn't get their money's worth out that sad-sack once was.

As far as I'm concerned, he's home and will end up being the Iverson we all know.

You realize there is no where for the sixers to go but up. I dont think he will help enough to avoid ping pong balls, but he will give a reason to watch this team. Also I think he will help Jrue not hinder him. Jrue needs to share the guard duties with a scorer, in the Washington game he and LouWill worked great off each other. And I think Iverson can fill the void left by the LouWIll injury.

Watching Iversons PC I feel bad for the guy and I'm glad the Sixers signed him. He seems genuinely happy to be back here.

Iverson and "genuine" do not compute.

Please repeat.

Huh? AI is one of the most genuine guys in professional sports. Considering the cookie cutter answers that guys like LeBron give in every interview, someone like AI is damn refreshing.
