That Irony pic is the funniest thing I've seen in a long time.

I got a chance to make it out to Phillips Square for the parade during my lunch hour today. Pretty cool experience. I can see how this city got used to parades over the years.

One of the Al's players was smoking a fat cigar and had a huge can of beer going. Nice to see the Cup up close too. Cool stuff.

Nah. Nowhere near there. I'd say 30k.

Popp said there was more than in 02, and back then there was 100k.

Well a lot of people were just downtown and watched. They happened to be walking around. They didn't follow the parade to Place-des-arts, so maybe that inflated the numbers.

He had a cigar in his mouth most of the time.

Wish I could've been there. Damn school. Als, win another one so I can go to the parade next year.

Has anyone skimmed the local papers out West to see if that 13th man fan committed suicide? He must feel soooooo stupid.

Yeah in '02 they setup stage on McGill College. People who came out of offices to see could hang around and watch it. I watched parade then went back to office like a lot of people, not gonna walk to Jeanne-mance just to listen to speeches.

Stupid to go to Place des Arts. City Hall types just wanted to show off the renovation work they did for the festivals. Today should of been about allowing more people to hear/see the Als, not your stupid building renovations, way to go Tremblay.

I found that exaggerated. Maybe if you count everyone in the vicinity there was 250k. I'm not sure there was 250k that came out for the parade.

When the fans were chanting "One more year! One more year!", Cahoon said that he was really tempted to say: "You got it!"
