We always seem to go to shootout against Buffalo. Wouldn't be surprised to see it again.

I'm worried about putting ONE goal past Miller considering our last performance. Either we see a new team tonight that has a chance (very possible) or we will get embarrassed. Please defenceman, PICK UP CONNOLLY!!!! That guy always has a strong game against us. Hope Jaro is up to the task.

What do these 8 teams mean?

Boston
Washington
Philadelphia
New Jersey
Pittsburgh
Buffallo
Tampa
Atlanta

They mean we're not in the playoffs!

Not sure why you say this, we have already beat the bolded teams this year and still have a lot of games left agaisnt the remaining ones.

Anyways, I think they will bounce back and take it to the Sabres, especially Pleks with a huge night against them as he always does.

I am sick as this is the first time I will not go to a Habs game in Buffalo in like 10 years, stupid staff Christmas party. Go Habs Go!!

I am not thinking so high on Pyatt and White as Martin did. Agreed that they bring energy and hard work to the team. But putting them together with Gomez on the 2nd line and expecting them to score?!?! Unless Gomez line is our 3rd line now. Up to now, Pyatt and White were playing like chickens without a head. May be Gomez can show them how to create scoring chances.

I hope Martin plays Sergei with Max Pac and Metropolit together. I would trust this combination to score before Pyatt and White.

The more I watch Lapierre plays, the more I find that he is just a dumb checker with little hockey sense. A 4th line checker is where he belongs.

2-1 Buffalo, regulation.

MAB with a late PP goal

Gomez skates in circles, doing nothing

So hard to predict what this team will do from day to day. This game could be ugly, or the guys might come out and look great...ya just can't predict with these guys.

Well...I'm just hoping for a good first period where we aren't losing after the first 20 minutes.

Question: Since all French goalies play against us - why can't Lalime play tonight? Seems fair - since we always get Luongo, Brodeur and Fleury.

Vanek has been playing with grier and kennedy the last two game. He has also had two of his better games this year, so I don't expect that to change.

Goose has a knee injury and unless something major has changed mair will be on the 4th line in his place.

Rivet is also hurt, however he says he feel better and thinks he wil play tonight.

Lindy said lalime will play one of our next two, but he has not specified which one yet.

Also, according to Canadiens.nhl.com, D'ago is still out? Maybe he wasn't ready on Tuesday?

I thought the game was yesterday?

I say 2-1 Habs in overtime, goal by Gomez and Spacek with the slapper on the PP in overtime. Halak have a wonderful night, then people ask for him to play against the Bruins, only to see JM come back with Price, which prove him right by shutting down those damned Bruins.

But yeah, let win this one first.

Double Trouble: the Habs are looking to rebound and will be balling, but the Sabres which are good this year awlays find a way to play well against the Habs by forechecking and playing hard. And the injuries. Tough call.
